Reports indicate that Gupta and Choudhary, who began their relationship after meeting on the set of Udaariyaan in 2021 and later appeared together on Bigg Boss 16, have since parted ways. This breakup has fueled speculation that it played a significant role in Gupta’s decision to leave the show.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Gupta confirmed his exit, mentioning, “I don’t think that I would be able to do something for that project right now. Maybe I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge.” This statement suggests that personal reasons, likely tied to the breakup, influenced his choice. Not that my manager thinks so, I think (laughs).” Sources close to him confirmed that he was never approached for the role, as he is currently busy with a film project. Therefore, while interpersonal issues between Gupta and Choudhary likely led to his exit, the uncertainty about his replacement adds a layer of suspense, with no confirmed replacement announced as of yet.
