By Anil Merani| Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mei, actors Neil Bhatt and better half Aishwarya Sharma feel that their tasks in Star Plus’ real-life Jodi reality show Smart Jodi are more challenging compared to what other pair contestants like Bhagyashree- Himalaya Dassani, Ankita Lokhande- Vicky Jain etc. get

Given their TV billing, Neil – Aishwarya and Arjun – Neha Bijlani seem to be the most popular Jodis. B- Towner Ankita and Bhagyashree are also in the top draw with their respective partners.

Ankit Tiwari -Pallavi, Kris Srikanth – Vidya, Gaurav – Ritu Taneja, Balraj – Deepti are the other couples are in the fray. Rahul Mahajan and Natalya are the first couples to be eliminated.

Four or five jodis are assigned, one task while the remaining have to perform a second one as per format.

Neil and Aishwarya's grouse seems genuine, for Smart Jodi format is different. Unlike most shows, elimination is not based on the judging panel's discretion or audience voting but simply on the Jodi's abilities to complete the various tasks assigned to them week on week

We immediately reached out to Neil regarding the same, and this was his reply. We quote, “the way we look at this is yes, our tasks are tough, but the allotment process is random. It could be pure luck that we end up getting tough ones. The takeaway is that we hope our execution entertains the audience. We try to give our best with every outing.”

Manish Paul is the anchor of Smart Jodi . Interestingly, this is the first reality show sans judges. In a way, Star will be happy with this call as the show is not rating well. Getting big-ticket celebrities to adjudicate would have cost them a bomb.
