The show, starring Afia Tayebali and Abrar Qazi as Katha and Uday, started with much promise. Marketed as a light-hearted tale and youth centered romcom, it was expected to bring freshness to the prime-time slot. However, the drama-loving audience of the channel failed to connect with its tone. Initially launched at the crucial 8 PM slot, the show soon witnessed falling TRPs. In a bid to salvage viewership, the channel shifted it first to 7:30 PM and now again it shifted to to the 6:30 PM slot to complete the further storyline. Many feel that the channel did not give the show a fair chance, citing frequent slot changes, reduced screen time from the very beginning, deviation from the original plot, and lack of proper promotions.
