Her role was of a second lead, who is polite, naive and simple. Aditi’s potrayal of someone ad adorable as Preeti garnered her tons of appreciation even though she was playing a supporting role. On Indian TV, supporting roles usually do not get enough recognition but here Aditi’s acting forced viewers to watch her performances. The turning point in Aditi’s career came with Naamkaran which aired on Star Plus. It was this show that brought Aditi into the limelight and made her a star overnight. Her pairing with Zain Imam got immense fan following and they both were shipped to the core. Aditi’s potrayal of an orphan Avni who has turned into a sort of female Robinhood and later falls in love with the ACP was very well portrayed and loved by audiences. This role even won her Face of The Year Award in Vietnam in the category of Favourite Foreign TV Actress.
