Divyanka Tripathi in a name that has been in the industry since over a decade and has always been loved and praised since the start.


Very few people know that before becoming one of the most pouplar heroines on Indian Television, Divyanka worked as an anchor in All India Radio. In the year 2003, after winning the title of Miss Beautiful Skin in Zee Teen Queen Divyanka tried her luck in 2004’s ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’ where she was crowned Miss Bhopal.


Divyanka made her television debut with telefilms on Doordarshan. However it was Zee TV is Banu Main Teri Dulhan in which Divyanka play dual roles of Vidya an orphan and illiterate girl and Divya a modern and literate girl, which made her rise to fame.

Her performance in the show not only one her phrases but also accolades including awards like Indian Telly Awards for Fresh New Face and Indian Television Academy Awards for the Best Actress in the Drama category.


Later, she featured in the second season of the horror show ‘Ssshhhh. . .Phir Koi Hai!’


Next Divyanka decided to try her hands at comedy and played the role of Rashmi Sharma,a housewife in Sab TV’s comedy drama, ‘Mrs.&Mr.Sharma Allahabadwale’.

The show received decent views and Divyanka’s acting was appreciated citing her experimentation with the new genre.


While all these shows kept sturding Divyanka’s career forward, it was Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ om Star Plus that turned her into an overnight star in 2013. Divyanka in the show played the role of an infertile dentist who marries Chief Executive Officer in order to provide maternal affection to his daughter to whom she feels too attached to.


Her pairing with Karan Patel and the bond between her character Ishita and Ruhi, the kid, became the most beloved part of the show.

Divyanka became a synonym of ‘IshiMaa’, something Ruhi calls her on the show. The show won her a number of awards imcluding the Indian Telly Award for the Best Actress role.


In 2015, she was honoured with the title of Sher-E-Bhopal Award. In 2016, she received six awards at Star Parivaar Awards.


Later, she participated in Nach Baliye 8 with her husband Vivek Dahiya and won.

This year Divyanka tried her hands at hosting and hosted ‘The Voice 3’


Divyanka recently also ventured into webspace breaking her image of a traditional simple girl with Alt Balaji’s ‘Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala’ where she played the role of a chef. Her performance and pairing with Rajeev Khandelwal was praised by audiences and critics alike.


Divyanka also has two films on her name, ‘Lala Hardaul’ where she played the role of Rani Padmavati and ‘A Divorce To Remember’ in the role of Zara.

Divyanka has earned herself recognition and love and good will through her hard work and we would like to wish this talented diva all the best for all of her future endeavours.
