Actress Park Ji Hyun who played the badass team leader in Flex X Cop , will not be reprising her role in the hit drama “Flex x Cop” season 2!
Recently a popular media outlet reported that Park Ji Hyun has decided not to appear in the second season of the SBS drama “Flex X Cop” which aired on 2024.
In response to the report, her agency Namoo Actors confirmed the news, stating that the actress will not be joining the next season due to scheduling conflicts.
Since the actress is not reprising her role in the second season, the production team is reportedly looking for another actress to take on the role, though casting has yet to be finalized. Filming is expected to begin early next year once casting is complete.
“Flex x Cop” which released last year, follows an immature third-generation chaebol Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun) who becomes a detective due to his privileged background and Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun), a workaholic veteran detective who is also the first female team leader in the Homicide Department. The drama premiered with an average nationwide rating of 5.7 percent and climbed to a peak of 11 percent during its run.
Park Ji Hyun has been recently casted to star in tvN’s upcoming office romance drama “Back to Work!” alongside Seo In Guk.
