The episode starts with KT getting a text message from Preeti saying she will come late to the office. KT thinks thank god Preeti is human and not a clock and he thinks he will reach first today.
At Kusum’s house, Kusum is back and everyone is happy to see her. She asks Priyanka about how is Amit as she doesnt know what all happened yesterday but she is sure Preeti handled it well. Priyanka taunts Kusum that this is no new thing, you are never there and even if you are, you are just silent and invisible. Sumedh and Juhi come and greet Kusum. Kusum asks where is Preeti. Juhi says I know where she is, She is at Tarun’s house to give kheer for papa’s shradh as she gave a promise to bua ji that she will ensure that Tarun will do the puja with Kheer she made. Kusum says Preeti is really naive, after so much she still went to that son like Tarun.
At Tarun’s house, Preeti before ringing the bell, cleans the name plate with Tarun’s name on it and then the bell too with her saree pallu. Then she rings the bell and remembers how last time Tarun sent her away. Tarun opens the door and he says so you decided to come back, you gave up on your challenge. Preeti says how could I have not come, today is your dad’s shradh.
Tarun let’s her come. Rati does all the preparation with her nani ma and thanks her. Rati ignores anything that Preeti was about to say. The shradh starts and pandit ji asks Tarun if he wants someone to come and sit with them for the shradh, he asks ma to come. Preeti gets up thinking he called him, then he stops Preeti and Rati says he meant my nani ma. Nani ma smirks and goes to sit with them.
Preeti is hurt. After the shradh is done Preeti gives the kheer she made to Rati but she says she already made the kind of Kheer Tarun’s dad liked. Preeti tells them how she promised bua ji that she will always prepare kheer and give it to Tarun to give into shradh. Tarun says don’t do all this drama. He takes the kheer from her and throws it in the dustbin. Sumedh, Juhi and Kusum are seeing all this. Preeti shouts at Tarun and says don’t forget that I am your mother. She then comes to rati and put a little bit of remaining kheer into the kheer bowl Rati prepared. Rati taunts her. Preeti says stay in your limits, I am your mother in law.
Tarun says if you would have stayed like a mother in law, she would have given that respect to you but you never stayed like that. He taunts Preeti on her relationship with his dad. Tarun says how his dad kept Preeti only for giving birth to kids. He reveals how his dad never talked or did any romantic thing with Preeti and always scolded her as he was ashamed of her. Preeti is hurt and cries. Sumedh, Juhi and Kusum get emotional and see Preeti getting hurt. Tarun keeps on taunting Preeti that she was never dad’s wife, she was just a formality and how he always remained outside when their anniversary came as he hated that day. Preeti is ashamed seeing Kusum there as she remembers how she told Kusum that his husband was romantic too.
Juhi comes and stops Tarun. She says no matter what dad did with mom, but she ensured we were happy and successful. We are this successful because of her only. She also says how Tarun is such a bad son that he sold mom’s house to buy this flat just because Rati said. Juhi says how he made his mother go away from house after 2 days of marriage. Juhi says how Tarun is unlucky thaf he remembers all the poison dad gave them and I am still getting the sweetness and love from mom. Juhi asks her mother to come with her. Before going Kusum taunts Tarun you are so proud of your relationship with your wife but that can also get a nazar and get destroyed.

Precap – KT and Preeti come to Mr. Nathmal and say they have an amazing idea for them but their laptop doesn’t start so KT asks for some time. Just then, Chanda comes with Rati and says don’t worry till that time we can show our idea. KT and Preeti are shocked to see their idea being presented by Chanda and Mr. Nathmal is really happy. Priyanka is seen copying the file from Preeti’s laptop.
