The episode starts with Kanika asking Kailashnath to forgive her. Kailashnath tells Kanika that just apologizing is not enough and says she has stained their family’s reputation. Kanika says that because of her stubbornness, she forgot what was right and wrong. Bhagyasree comments on Kanika’s behavior. Chitralekha tells the Kothari family that Kanika is the only daughter of the family and asks them to forgive her. Kailashnath agrees and tells Kanika that she should apologize to Karthik and Deepa.
Kanika apologizes to Karthik and Deepa. Karthik tells Kanika that she has broken his trust. Kanika asks Karthik to give her another chance. She also asks Deepa to forgive her. Deepa says she has already forgiven her. Bhagyasree tells Kanika that they have accepted Karthik and Deepa’s marriage and that she should also accept it. Karthik and Deepa leave from there, followed by the rest of the Kothari family.
In her room, Kanika lashes out at Chitralekha, saying that she was the one who made the plan but later betrayed her. Chitralekha tells Kanika that it was not betrayal but drama. She explains that if Kanika had admitted the truth in front of everyone, both of them would have been thrown out of the house. Chitralekha says that because Kanika stayed silent, they are still able to stay in the house. Kanika complains that Deepa has become great in front of everyone and comments on it. Chitralekha asks Kanika to wait for a while and assures her that things will soon turn in her favor. Kanika agrees.
Deepa asks Karthik to eat something, but he says he is not feeling hungry. Karthik praises Deepa, saying that she always sets things right. Deepa replies that she always tries to do the right thing and comments on it.
The next day, Ranjit asks Deepa why she has come to meet him. Deepa talks to Ranjit about Kanchan. She says that Kanchan is unable to forget his betrayal and wants answers from him. Ranjit argues with Deepa and asks her not to interfere in their family matter. Deepa says she will interfere because she is Kanchan’s daughter-in-law. She speaks about Kanchan’s pain and asks Ranjit to talk to her before leaving.
Meanwhile, Kanchan talks to Karthik and asks him why he is angry with Deepa. Karthik says he is upset because Deepa hid the truth about Ranjit from him. He adds that Deepa often takes decisions for others. Kanchan tells Karthik that Deepa hid the truth to protect the family. She explains that if Deepa had revealed the truth earlier, Karthik would have hated Ranjit and she herself would not have been able to bear the betrayal. Kanchan says Deepa could have used the truth to win a place in her heart, but she chose not to.
Kanchan tells Karthik that he chose the right partner. She says Deepa always thinks about others’ happiness before her own, and she has never seen a girl like her. She adds that Karthik only saw half the truth and got angry with Deepa. Karthik thanks Kanchan for guiding him.
Karthik then goes to Deepa and apologizes to her for not trusting her. He says he felt as if she had cheated him without knowing the complete truth that she was trying to protect the dignity of his family. He admits that he misunderstood her and says she is his strength. Deepa replies that she does not want him to hate his father and does not want to come between him and his father. Karthik says he is angry with himself and with his father, as everyone knew the truth except him. Deepa says he has the right to feel angry.
Karthik says that Deepa helped everyone, including his mother and Sapna, but he accused her and stood against her. Deepa says they are not enemies and are simply trying to find the right path. Karthik says their relationship did not start with love, but they can start with friendship now. He asks Deepa if she can become his friend. Deepa shakes his hand and agrees.
Jyothi comes there and notices their handshake. She asks if they have become friends. Karthik says yes. Jyothi thanks God for fulfilling her wish.

Precap: Deepa and Karthik get married with the blessings of their family members. Kanika poisons a glass of milk and gives it to Deepa. After drinking it, Deepa falls unconscious. Karthik rushes to her and says, “Deepa, open your eyes. Nothing will happen to you.”
