The episode starts with Karthik searching for the ring in the darkness after dropping it when the lights went out. Deepa brings two diya stands and lights all the diyas. Karthik is mesmerized by the sight of Deepa.
Jyoti finds the ring and gives it to Karthik. Karthik takes the ring and continues to stare at Deepa. Kanika brings Karthik out of his trance and asks him to put the ring on her finger. Karthik agrees.
Deepa notices Bhanu, disguised, approaching Karthik with a knife in his hand. Just as Bhanu is about to stab Karthik, Deepa steps in between them and gets stabbed instead.
The lights come back on, and Bhanu escapes. Karthik and the others worry about Deepa. Deepa asks Karthik to find her daughter Jyoti. Karthik agrees and leaves.
Ranjit and Mahindra catch Bhanu. Mahindra tells Bhanu that they know he is behind all this.
Karthik searches for Jyoti and finds her hiding under a table. He asks her what she is doing there. Jyoti tells Karthik that a demon came and stabbed Bhanu. She says the demon will kill her too. Karthik reassures her and promises that he will not let anything happen to her. Jyoti then goes to Deepa.
Jyoti notices blood flowing from Deepa’s hand. Deepa asks her not to worry.
Ranjit and Mahindra bring Bhanu before the Kothari family and reveal that he is the one who attacked Deepa.
Kailashnath grabs Bhanu’s collar and demands to know how he dared to attack a member of his family. Bhanu admits that his real target was Karthik, but Deepa came in between them. Kailashnath asks Bhanu what Karthik has done to him.
Bhanu tells Kailashnath and the others that Karthik supported Deepa and had him jailed on kidnapping charges involving his own daughter. Deepa asks Bhanu to stop speaking, but Bhanu insists on revealing the truth. He declares that Jyoti is his daughter. Hearing this, Jyoti loses consciousness.
Karthik speaks to the doctor about Jyoti’s medical condition. The doctor informs him that Jyoti’s white blood cell (WBC) count is very high and they need to determine the cause. The doctor advises Karthik to keep Jyoti away from stress as much as possible. Karthik agrees.
A nurse bandages Deepa’s wound, and Deepa leaves to see her daughter.
Karthik apologizes to the sleeping Jyoti for not being able to protect her. Deepa arrives, and Jyoti regains consciousness. Jyoti asks Deepa if that demon is her father. She says she does not want a father like Bhanu and does not want to grow up to be like him. Instead, she wants to grow up to be like Karthik.
The nurse comes to draw Jyoti’s blood. Jyoti is afraid of the needle, but Karthik encourages her. Jyoti bravely allows the nurse to take her blood sample.
Kanika complains to Chitralekha that Jyoti and Deepa are becoming obstacles for her. Chitralekha says it is a good thing Bhanu did not mention her name; otherwise, she would have gone to jail. Kanika vows to remove Deepa and Jyoti from her path and declares that she will get Karthik at any cost.
The episode ends.
Precap: Karthik tells Deepa that Jyoti will not go anywhere. Jyoti asks Deepa why she cannot make Karthik her father if she can make him her friend. Deepa reminds Jyoti that they have no relationship with Karthik. In front of Kanchan, Karthik takes sindoor and applies it to Deepa’s hairline. Kanika witnesses this from a distance. Karthik tells Deepa that Jyoti will stay because he is her father.
Our take:- Deepa’s brave sacrifice once again proves that she will risk everything for Karthik and Jyoti.
Bhanu’s shocking revelation has shaken everyone, but it may finally push Karthik to accept the truth about his bond with Jyoti.
With sindoor changing equations and Kanika plotting revenge, an intense emotional storm is clearly ahead.
