The episode starts with Jyoti telling Deepa that she asked Karthik a question, but he hasn’t answered her. Deepa asks Jyoti what the question is. Jyoti asks Deepa why Bhagyasree and Kailashnath are angry with her. Deepa tells Jyoti to go to sleep. Jyoti asks who will answer her question. Karthik comes in and tells Jyoti that he will answer it. He explains that when they do something right, some people may see it as wrong. He says they will have to make them understand that they are right. Jyoti asks Deepa not to worry and says Karthik will set everything right. Karthik agrees.
Kanchan asks Ranjit in her heart to answer her call, but he doesn’t. She apologizes to him, saying she forgot that she is his wife first and Karthik’s mother afterward.
Ranjit cuts Kanchan’s call while drinking alcohol. Kaveri comes and asks if Kanchan is calling him. Ranjit says yes. He complains to Kaveri about Kanchan being kind to Karthik even after he told her not to be. Kaveri asks Ranjit not to be so absorbed in his first family that he forgets he has another family. Ranjit tells Kaveri not to act as if she doesn’t know anything about his first family. He reminds her that he had already told her he has a wife and a son. Kaveri admits that she knows everything, but their daughter Sapna doesn’t know about his first family. She says Sapna often asks what kind of business Ranjit does that keeps him away from them all the time. Kaveri adds that Sapna is no longer a child who will believe his lies. Ranjit admits that he cannot give them enough time, but says he has given them everything else, such as comfort and money. Kaveri comments on this and asks him to think about the consequences when Sapna learns the truth. She then leaves.
Kanchan feels guilty for making Ranjit angry. Deepa comes to Kanchan with food. Kanchan blames Deepa for creating a rift in her family. She pushes the plate away and asks Deepa to leave. Deepa places the food on the table and tells Kanchan to eat if she feels hungry, then leaves.
Bhagyasree comes to meet Kanchan. She says she didn’t want to come, but she has many questions in her heart. Bhagyasree says she would never have believed it if someone had told her that Kanchan would betray her, but she has seen it with her own eyes. She asks how Kanchan could accept Deepa and Karthik. Bhagyasree asks if she didn’t think about Kanika even for a second. Kanchan clarifies that they have never accepted Deepa as their daughter-in-law and that they performed the pooja at the temple only for Karthik’s well-being. Bhagyasree calls Kanchan a selfish mother who thinks only about her own son and not about Kanika. She breaks ties with Kanchan and leaves. Kanchan feels distressed.
The next day, Karthik thinks about the doctor’s words that Jyoti has a congenital heart disease and needs treatment. Jyoti accidentally knocks down the hospital file. Karthik gathers the papers. Deepa asks him what the file is about. Karthik lies and says it is related to his work. He later leaves and apologizes to Deepa in his thoughts, deciding not to tell her anything so she won’t worry.
Deepa goes to Lakshman’s hotel. Lakshman asks if she will continue working there now that she has become the daughter-in-law of a rich family. Deepa says she will, as this work is her identity. She adds that she will prepare Upma Biryani today.
Kaveri comes to Lakshman’s hotel with her friends to eat. She talks to Lakshman and Deepa and asks Deepa if she is experimenting too much. Deepa says Upma Biryani is delicious and asks Kaveri to try it. Kaveri says she will not pay the bill if she doesn’t like it. Lakshman asks if she is saying that so she can avoid paying after eating. Kaveri gets offended and raises her hand. Deepa catches her hand and tells her to stay within her limits. Furious, Kaveri calls Ranjit and says she has been insulted. Ranjit arrives at Lakshman’s hotel and is shocked to see that Deepa is the one who argued with Kaveri.
Episode ends.
Precap: Karthik tells Deepa over the phone that he is at a hospital. Deepa asks what happened. Karthik says he helped a girl named Sapna who was injured in an accident. Deepa comes to the hospital and sees Sapna, Kaveri’s daughter, treating Karthik like a brother because he helped her. Deepa thinks that fate is playing a game.
Our take:- Karthik’s decision to hide Jyoti’s illness may protect Deepa for now, but secrets like these often create deeper cracks later.
Ranjit’s double life is inching closer to exposure, and Sapna’s growing doubts could become the biggest turning point.
