The episode starts with Chitralekha lashing out at Kanika for raising her hand at the waiter (Ravi) in the hotel. Kanika asks Chitralekha why she is scolding her for it and comments on Chitralekha.
Chitralekha tells Kanika that she is angry about some other things, which is why she spoke like that. Chitralekha takes Kanika aside and tells her that if she wants to win Karthik, she needs to control her anger. Kanika asks Chitralekha to tell her what she should do. Chitralekha asks Kanika to wait for the right time and says that they will win in the end.
The next day, Deepa tells Ranjit that she needs to talk to him about something. Ranjit takes Deepa aside. Deepa tells Ranjit that she cannot keep his truth hidden anymore. Ranjit reminds Deepa that she is the one who asked for time. He also reminds her that it is his personal matter. Deepa says it was only his personal matter until he had a second family. She asks Ranjit to tell the truth to his family and says that if Karthik questions her, she will not hide the truth. Deepa then leaves. Bantu overhears their conversation.
Bantu sends a video recording of Ranjit and Deepa’s conversation to Chitralekha. Chitralekha tells Kanika that they have hit the lottery. She shows the video to Kanika. Kanika says this is really big news and says that Karthik and Kanchan do not know about Ranjit’s second family, and only Deepa knows about it. Kanika thinks that Karthik will throw Deepa out of the house once he finds out that she hid the truth.
Kanika stops Karthik and tells him that she has something to say. Karthik asks Kanika what it is. Kanika shows him the video recording of Deepa and Ranjit’s conversation. Karthik cannot believe what he sees in the video. Kanika tells Karthik that this is the truth and says that Deepa has hidden such a big truth from him. Karthik calls Sapna and asks her the name of her father. Sapna says it is Ranjit. Karthik is shocked to hear this and goes to confront Ranjit.
Karthik returns home in a hurry. Deepa asks him why he looks tense. Karthik tells Deepa that right now he wants to talk to Ranjit, not her.
Karthik confronts Ranjit and asks if it is true that he has another family besides them. Kanchan asks Karthik what he is talking about. Ranjit tells Karthik that they should not discuss this in front of Kanchan, but Karthik demands the truth, saying Kanchan has the right to know. Ranjit admits that Sapna is his daughter and that he has another family. Kanchan feels like her world has shattered and she has trouble breathing. Karthik calls for a doctor.
Kanika comes and tells Bhagyasree and Kailashnath about Ranjit having another family and Deepa hiding the truth from Karthik. Kailashnath and Bhagyasree feel sorry for Kanchan. Chitralekha comments on Deepa.
After checking Kanchan, the doctor tells Karthik that Kanchan’s BP has dropped due to stress and asks him to make sure she does not face such stress again. Karthik agrees, and the doctor leaves.
Karthik confronts Deepa and asks why she hid the truth about Ranjit’s second family. Deepa says she did not want to hurt him and that she was waiting for the right time. Karthik asks Deepa if he looks happy now and comments on it.
Episode ends.
Precap: Kanchan comes to the Kothari house to stay with the family as Ranjit has betrayed her. Karthik, Deepa, and Jyoti come along with Kanchan, and they stay in the outhouse.
