I will be celebrating virtual Raksha Bandhan with our only brother. The reason why I said only is because our family is filled with more of girls than of boys. I always be at this year of the day, but this time I won’t be. Nevertheless, the celebration will remain the same.”

Ishita Ganguly who is winning hearts with her performance as Draupadi in ‘RadhaKrishn – Krishn Arjun Gatha’ and as Maa Kaali in ‘Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi – Kahani Mata Rani Ki’ is all set to celebrate one of a kind and her first ever virtual Raksha Bandhan, “This is I’m going to miss celebrating Raksha Bandhan with my brother. As he has gone to Kolkata for work. For the first time we will be celebrating the day virtually. We have always celebrated Raksha Bandhan together but this year is different. I’m going to miss him but he has always there for me. We are more of a best friends than being siblings. He’s just two years younger to me but we are like buddies. We use to go out and do shopping together. I wish this situation goes away soon and I could go meet my brother in Kolkata soon. He not only motivates me but is always supportive towards me be it gym training or taking care of myself he always checks up on me and keeps asking how I am doing. I miss my brother a lot. More than a brother I miss my best friend. I wish everyone a happy Raksha Bandhan. I hope you are together with your siblings and do enjoy the day. I urge everyone to celebrate this bond of togetherness, love and care.”

Sumedh Mudgalkar

Sumedh Mudgalkar who is playing the pivotal role of Krishn in ‘RadhaKrishn – Krishn Arjun Gatha shares his thoughts on his Rakshabandhan plans, “This year I’m going to celebrate Raksha Bandhan away from my family since I will be on the sets of our show ‘RadhaKrishn – Krishn Arjun Gatha’ away from my sisters. I have already sent my sisters their gifts and I know I’ll receive my rakhis here. I wish unlike every year we would be together to celebrate the day with sweets and togetherness but due to such trying times we will meet virtually. “
