By Gossips Tv : The recently launched Star Plus drama Tu Dhadkan Main Dil is facing turbulence just weeks after its debut on 23 June 2025. Backed by a grand launch and high expectations, the Siddharth Kumar Tewary–produced series centres on a gifted young girl, Dil, whose extraordinary singing voice becomes the anchor of her journey. After a life-altering tragedy, she embarks on an emotional quest to reconnect with her estranged father, a figure depicted as the true harmony of her life.
While the premise promised an engaging blend of music and heartfelt storytelling, the show has been unable to achieve the desired ratings, reportedly struggling to cross the 1.0 TVR mark. This performance dip has sparked speculation that the channel may end the series sooner than expected.
The project reunited television favourite Sourabh Raaj Jain in the lead role, with Aaradhya Patel portraying Dil. The cast also features Swati Sharma, Kavita Ghai, and several other well-known faces.
Tu Dhadkan Main Dil is the second Hindi remake of the acclaimed Bengali series Potol Kumar Gaanwala. The first adaptation, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, became a runaway success, raising the bar for musical dramas on the channel. Unfortunately, the latest version has struggled to replicate that magic, putting its future under question.
According to close sources and reports the production has been notified to end the show later this month. However the final date yet to be locked.
