Show Teri Meri Dooriyaan is ending soon. The incomplete love story of Sahiba and Angad left fans disappointed.
In the last episode of the show, Angad will marry Gurnoor.
The actors of the show bid adieu to Teri Meri Dooriyaan. Actress Himanshi Parashar, who played Sahiba/Gurnoor, took to her social media and wrote: “And the journey of SAHIBA ends today??From the day i tested for the look for the Sahiba’s character till it’s death scene, there was not a single day when i didn’t feel fortunate to have this opportunity of playing Sahiba? It has given me so much to remember by.
A person full of dignity and self-respect. A person full of love and care. I’ve honestly lived this character. When i got to know that Sahiba is dying in the show, since that day i felt heavy in my heart as if i’m losing someone really close. My last scene as Sahiba with Angad @vijayendrakumeria in the hospital will ALWAYS be the Most Favourite scene for me as an actor. That scene?? Now the story has taken a new turn, and i’ve got the opportunity to play a whole different character ‘Gurnoor’ which is poles apart from what i did for the past one and a half years. I hope the amount ot love you all have given to Sahiba, Gurnoor will also receive?? My job as an actor has become a little challenging and all that we need is love from you all. Vijayendra Kumeria will miss playing Angad’s character in the show. The actor wrote a heartfelt note on the last day of Teri Meri Dooriyaan. “Last selfie clicked as Angad Singh Brar… It’s a wrap guys… Had a wonderful journey… A journey to remember for a life time… #terimeridoriyaann …. It’s a show that will always remain close to my heart… #Angad … this character will always standout when I will look back at my body of work. From the time I was approached and was narrated the story and the character, I in my heart started believing that I will be playing this part… I started growing a beard and refused to get a haircut… My heart said that I am going do this one even before signing the dotted line… Got the news about someone else bagging the role, still I refused to change my look for other screen-tests. I don’t know if it was some kind of manifestation or it was destiny, I was re approached and was on board… Living this character for 22 months was an enriching & satisfying experience as an actor and as a person as well.
There have been all sorts of experiences, some extremely good some not so good, there have been highs and lows ….there have been some victorious moments and some experimental failures but we take them in our stride and move on…. Thats life?.
