We all make New Year resolutions and then we just as quickly break them too! But what’s important is the thought that one puts in their resolution. This year, we ask TV stars about what their New Year’s resolutions are going to be, and got some rather interesting and inspiring answers. Also, we asked them their New Year travel plans. Read on to know more…

Aishwarya Sakhuja – I will be in Bombay this year because I am working, so mostly I’m celebrating it with my friends and family. How, where and when are still to be figured out because currently I am so caught up with work that I have not made any plans. My New Year resolution is to stop making these resolutions because they are of no use! You make these resolutions and do nothing about them. So this year, I will just try to be a better human being.

Mrunal Jain – My New Year resolution is to take less protein as suggested by my parents and wife. As far as celebrations are concerned, I will be celebrating the New Year in Goa with my close friends including Kunal Thakkur.

Himmanshoo Malhotra – As of now there is no plan. Most probably I will be in Mumbai. If not with friends then maybe I will be in Mumbai to celebrate with my mum. My New Year resolution is to travel across India as much as I can. The idea is to explore and grow. Unfortunately, due to work or something or the other, it has not possible until now. But in 2017, I will make sure that I travel a lot. I want to see the beautiful country that we live in, meet different kind of people and try and grow as a person over a period of time.

Jasmin Bhasin – I don’t make New Year resolutions because I end up breaking them. So, I only know about celebrating the New Year. I will be with my family and close friends at some house party because I don’t like stepping out on New Year’s!

Muskaan Mihani – My New Year resolution is I’ll be much stronger as a person because I am sensitive and get hurt easily. I will celebrate the New Year with my sweet family!

Kratika Sengar Dheer – I don’t make any resolution at all and I don’t believe in making resolutions on New Year eve. If you want to start something or stop something, can do it right away — why to wait for the New Year to come? If I want to do something, I do it. I really don’t wait for the right time to come. I would be celebrating this New year in Singapore with my husband and close friends

Arjun Bijlani – I am going to be with my family this New Year because I hardly get any time with them. So, the New Year is definitely with Ayan and Neha. I am going out of Mumbai to Goa and just have a good time with them. I will play with Ayan on the beach, take him swimming, etc. There is nothing better than spending time with family. My New Year regime is to work harder, and not only on my shows but also on my fitness, I have to be focused. I am at a stage where I can do films, so I will work on that and improve my skills.

Priyal Gor – I don’t believe in resolution, I believe in time and God. Time is the only thing that teaches you and makes you learn. I have to work on the New Year plans, but I might celebrate it with family at home.

Gunjan Utreja – I do not believe in the concept of New Year resolutions. I believe, if something needs to be changed in your life then you shouldn’t wait for a date. Having said that, the only thing I have learnt from my parents is that I should pray every year to work harder, laugh more and be more caring than the previous year. About celebrating, I have a house party at my home.

Karan Wahi: My resolution is the same as last year which is  to be content with what I have and be happy. Sometimes in life, we forget to appreciate what we have and want more. I think my resolution would be to be happy with what I have more than what I want.

Ridhi Dogra: My new year resolution is to be positive through every situation and give 100% in whatever I do. I think that’s my motto and I am definitely going to stick to it

Vahbiz Dorabjee – My New Year resolution is to be happy and stay focused on my career. I’m a happy person and will continue to be happy! About celebration, I am going to be with my parents in Pune.

Ravi Dubey – My New Year resolution is to go on maintaining my lean look and do more films too. And, I plan to celebrate the New Year with my wife Sargun Mehta and few close friends.

Laksh – My New Year resolution is to be focused on my career and give my best to my show ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ and focus on martial arts.

Adaa Khan – My New Year resolution is to be happy and take better care of my health!

Krrip Kapur Suri – I want to focus on my passion of singing in 2017. I also want to spend more time with my wife Simran.

Aniruddh Dave –  I want to take extra care of my health and spend quality time with wife Shubhi as well as do new innovative things in my career.
