By Anil Merani| Arjun Bijlani, one of the superstars of desi TV, got to shake a leg in one scene of Karan Johar’s latest hit film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which shows his rising power.
Arjun, currently doing Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti on Colors, is impressing one, and all, by acting as a doctor who does not know that he is the victim of a family conspiracy. Apart from the above Prateek Sharna fiction show. He is also hosting India Has Got Talent 10 again on Colors.
Arjun, who began years back with the Zee TV show Mamta, found his calling with the Army series Left Right Left. I remember meeting him at the launch press conference. He was short of confidence but has since gone places doing big shows such as Miley Jab Hum Tum, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Naagin, Kavach, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Di.
Apart from fiction, he has also dabbed in non-fiction properties such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11(Winner)
Arjun is a very sorted guy. You never see him in any controversy. He is content with his wife and child. I hope other actors can follow the family route because it leaves you enough time to work on your craft.
Arjun has moved with the times and done web series, i.e. State of Siege and Roohaniyat. He even took a break from fiction tv to prep for the web. He is now back on the tube series front.
His friendship with tv actors like Ravi Dubey is solid and speaks volumes about his warm heart.
I hope film producers now cast him in their cine projects as he is big screen material for sure. His debut film venture Direct Ishq had gone nowhere back in 2016. He has also done three shorts (Full Fukure and Caught in the web etc)
One central plus point for Arjun is that he has maintained himself well over the year. Other actors have gone out of shape.
