The episode starts with Sejal knocking the door of KhimJi’s house and informs that Prem Ji has gone to group child marriage ceremony and police is going to have a raid there. Constable is very close to catching Premji but Khimji appears at right time and takes him along. Sejal, Ratan and everyone are doing the rituals. Later Ratan gets labour pain and is rushed to hospital. At hospital, doctor informs them that there are some complications as the baby has inverted in the womb. Khimji comes and kneels infront of Premji and tells daughter is born.
A Grand celebration is arranged for blessing Anandi . Everyone happily dance around. Leela calls her husband to ask when will he come. He talks to her rudely. Hetal tries to taunt Leela for not giving birth to child even after three years of marriage. Khimji and Premji informs doctor that they have kept child’s name as Anandi. She gets very happy and tells Anandi was name of first female doctor who started western medicine practice in India.
Leela asks her husband what did he bring for gift as she doesn’t even know whats inside it. They have an argument. Leela comes to bless Anandi but Hetal starts bad mouthing her and says its inauspicious for an infertile woman to give blessings. When Kadvi Baa starts defending Leela, Hetal taunts her for enjoying inspite of being a widow.
Ratan hugs Leela and asks her to bless Anandi. Sejal looks upset. Leela makes Anandi wear the bangles which her husband bought as gift. Everyone start smiling again. Premji and Khimji go to leave Doctor and she advises them again to let Ratan and Anandi have more rest. Khimji tells now Nagji will be more annoyed. Premji says he is bitter as Khimji won elections for Sarpanch. Nagji gets angry after his wife tells him what happened and vows to take revenge.
Ratan suddenly starts feeling dizzy and then faints. While Jigar’s ball get under craddle and when he lifts it, craddle slips and Anandi falls on the ground. Anandi doesn’t open her eyes. Doctor comes and asks to take them inside. She checks Ratan & Anandi and then asks Leela to go and get medicines from hospital. Leela gets worried and asks how can she bring it. Doctor tells she will inform the nurse and asks her to go and immediately bring medicines. Outside some women badmouth and say Hetal was right that Leela is a bad omen. Khimji and Prem gets worried about Anandi and Ratan.
Leela runs outside room to get medicines from hospital. Khimji asks her what happened but she doesn’t say anything and runs hurriedly. Jigar comes there to complaint about Kalpesh not giving him ball, Khimji gets angry at him and is about to hit him. But Premji stops him and tells its not Jigar’s fault. Leela gets medicines from nurse and comes back. Doctor gives injection to Ratan and eyes drops to Anandi. Anandi opens her eyes and gets well. Doctor tells them both Ratan and Anandi are fine. Outside Khimji prays to goddess for their well being. Kadvi baa hugs Leela and thanks her for bringing medicine on time. She asks her to take Anandi in her arms.
They come outside and inform Khimji and Premji that Anandi and Ratan are both fine. Khimji thanks doctor for giving another life to Ratan. Doctor explains that everything was done well because Leela brought medicines on time. She explains how society was blaming her but she is one who saved their lives today. Later Kadvi Baa thanks her for making everyone understand and defend Leela. Doctor asks why she let her get married at such young age. Baa cries and says if it was in her hands she would have made her granddaughters get educated but her own people are enemies and starts crying.
Later Leela tries to find her bangles in cupboard but doesn’t it. Her husband scolds her and tells he kept it in exchange for getting bangles for Anandi. She questions why did he take it stealthily. He gets angry at her and abuses her physically. Premji does makeup of his son and puts powder. Sejal tells him to stop treating their son as daughter as now they have their daughter in law. A man comes and informs Premji that bank denied loan request. Khimji comes there and asks him why is he worried. He explains that he wanted to buy the land where they first started when they came to village but bank denied loan. Khimji recalls how Premji took oath to not wear footwear for years till Anandi is born and is healthy.
After worshiping in temple, Khimji asks Premji to wear footwear and makes him wear it. Both of them happily hug each other. Sejal says Anandi has now turned this friendship to relationship. A man comes and informs Premji that his loan has been passed. He says its good effect of Anandi’s presence. Ratan prepares meal for Sejal and Premji. While eating, Premji feeds Khimji from his own hands. Jigar looks on curiously.
Later Premji plays with Anandi in his lap and adored her.
Jigar asks him why he never plays with him. Ratan asks him to play with her son in law first and then later with Anandi. Premji asks Jigar what does he want, he says Premji to feed him like he fed Khimji earlier. Premji starts explaining Jigar about his friendship with Khimji. He tells how he was empty handed when he came to village but Khimji selflessly helped him with everything. Khimji comes and says but real example of friendship is Premji.
Flashback shows how there was heavy fire and Khimji got trapped inside. Premji went in the hut to save him and got his shoulder burnt. Premji and Khimji praise each other for being better friend. Sejal and Ratan tell them that Jigar has already fallen asleep. Anandi smiles happily and Premji says she is happy to know tales about their friendship. Leela brings sweetdish for Kadvi Baa. While taking it, she sees marks on her arm. Leela recalls how her husband had hurt her but lies and makes excuse of slipping while washing utensils. Ratan comes there to give them sweets from temple and notices Leela’s marks too. When questioned Leela lies and says she fell from stairs. Kadvi Baa realizes Leela has been lying. She tells Leela when one says lies they make forget what excuse they made up but Leela doesn’t tell her anything.
Kadvi Baa brings tea for Leela and notices marks again on her other hand this time. She tells Leela to tell the truth and not make excuses. She realizes its her husband who has hurt her physically. Baa says she will go and talk to him. But Leela begs her not to do so. She cries and stops her. Sarita comes there in a weak state. She is breathing heavily and falls down.
Leela and Baa take her to hospital. Doctor asks Baa to take care of Sarita’s diet as well as supplements. Later Sarita cries and says she has been treated badly at her in laws’ house because they didn’t give huge dowry. Baa calls Ashok and questions him about sending Sarita alone in such state. His mother takes the call and tells Baa to send her to take care of her granddaughter’s delivery and send her back only if she gives birth to a boy.
Kadvi Baa feels hurt that both her granddaughters are suffering. One cannot conceive while other may not be accepted if she gives birth to girl. Sejal tells Premji that Baa had called. She tries to convince Premji that he should go to meet her once as she was crying badly to meet her grandsons. Premji asks her if she forgot how badly Devadi used to insult her everyday. He says he will never step in that house again. Sejal tells him that they should go atleast once. Premji goes to his family home with Sejal, Jigar and Gopal. Sejal goes and knocks the door while Premji waits outside. Baa comes and feels overwhelmed seeing them. She happily hugs Sejal and gets emotional seeing Jigar and Gopal.
Baa asks all of them to come inside the house. Devadi sees them and starts insulting them. She asks why have they come there after so many years and if they have some other motive. Baa tells her to keep quiet. But she goes to speaking. Baa calls Kanku to come and meet her maternal uncle. Kanku comes happily running, Premji gets very glad to see her but Devadi doesn’t allow them to meet. After being humiliated Premji leaves angrily with his family while Baa falls unconscious. In the upcoming episodes we will see Anandi and Jigar tying knot in running truck.
