The show, which premiered in 2021, has been a staple in the evening slot, entertaining a loyal fan base. Despite a recent seven-year leap and a new storyline, the channel has decided to axe the show, leaving fans heartbroken.
According to our well placed sources the show is wrapping up. Channel wanted to air the show at 6pm slot but the makers decided to end the show in happy note.
The off air news was also confirmed by actor Shabaaz Abdullah Badi, who plays the role of Bhaven Makwana in the show. In an interview with Fimlibeat he expressed his disappointment, he stated “I’m upset that Pandya Store is going off-air after running for such a long time. He also mentioned that he will miss working with his co-stars and the entire team.
The show’s abrupt ending comes as a surprise, especially since it recently introduced a new storyline with a seven-year leap. Fans were invested in the separation track of Dhawal and Natasha, played by Rohit Chandel and Priyanshi Yadav, respectively. However, it seems the channel didn’t give the show enough time to flourish.
The last episode of Pandya Store is likely to air on May 26, making way for Ankit Gupta and Rutuja Bagwe’s new show, Maati Se Bandhi Dor, which will take over the 7:30 pm slot from May 27.
