Zee TV is ready to launch its much-awaited family drama Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, which is set to premiere on 22nd September at 9 PM. The show will take over the prime-time slot of the legacy series Kumkum Bhagya, which is bidding farewell after a long run.
A Story Rooted in Strength and Values
The show will revolve around Ganga and her three daughters, highlighting their struggles, ambitions, and the values that define them. In a recently unveiled promo, fans got their first glimpse of the show’s male lead—Sheezan Khan, who was last seen in Ali Baba and has also made his mark with web series and music videos.

Adding to the excitement, Sheezan Khan and Amandeep Sidhu are reuniting as an on-screen pair after previously winning hearts in Dreamiyata’s Tu Hai Ashikki (where they played Noor and Arjan). This time, they return in Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan with a new layer of intensity and chemistry.
Sheezan will be seen as Siddhu, while Amandeep essays the role of Sneha, one of Ganga’s daughters. Both characters are fiery, strong-willed, and committed to helping the underprivileged. Sneha, in particular, dreams of becoming an IAS officer to serve society.

The makers tease Siddhu and Sneha’s dynamic as being like “aandhi aur toofaan”—two fierce personalities bound to clash yet drawn irresistibly to one another. In the promo, Siddhu compares Sneha to his mother, saying she is tough on the outside but full of love on the inside. Captivated by her strength, he falls for her at first sight.
