Scoop : Did Ayesha Singh’s possible exit prompt Mannat makers to shelve the 15-year generation leap?

By Gossips TV : Colors TV’s Mannat, starring Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan, is reportedly gearing up for a one-year leap that will dramatically alter the storyline. The upcoming track is expected to focus on separation, heartbreak, and a major misunderstanding between the lead characters.

According to reports, Mannat will believe that Vikrant has died. Devastated by the loss, she will continue living a lonely and sorrowful life while placing her trust in Dhairya. However, Vikrant will actually be alive. Reports suggest that he will suffer memory loss and begin living with a new family, completely unaware of his past. Adding another layer of drama, he is also expected to be on the verge of getting engaged.

Interestingly, reports indicate that the makers had initially planned a much bigger revamp for the show. A 15-year generation leap was reportedly under consideration, which would have completely changed the narrative. Under the proposed storyline, Adnan Khan’s character was expected to exit, while Ayesha Singh would have remained associated with the show by playing Dua, the daughter of Mannat and Vikrant.

However, the ambitious plan reportedly failed to materialize. Reports claim that Ayesha Singh was not keen on being part of the 15-year leap for undisclosed reasons. With the generation leap no longer viable, the makers were allegedly forced to rethink their strategy.

As a result, the planned 15-year jump was reportedly scrapped and replaced with a shorter one-year leap. The makers are now expected to bank on the emotional separation track and Vikrant’s memory-loss storyline in an attempt to bring fresh momentum to the show and improve its ratings.
