Unique, Bold and Rare are the words that can well define colors TV popular show ‘Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’. Under these three words this show has proved the worth time and again.
The show has nearly completed 700 and more episodes and one can’t disagree with the fact those all were focused on the equal rights of Trans-gender, which is the main theme of this series.
Serial ‘Shakti’ is:
- UNIQUE- we have seen ‘n’ no of varieties of shows on Indian Television with special characteristics and genres but this show falls in really out of the box category, as this is the first time ever in the history of ITV who thought to showcase a journey of a Trans-gender.
- BOLD- it isn’t normal at all to feature a love story of a Trans-gender too but makers of the show has really took a bold step and showed- love can blossom between a normal man and a Trans-gender too.
- Rare- we all know that third-gender of the society has a right to be equally treated like the normal people of the society but inspite of that the Trans-gender is still struggling and lacking in every aspect of livelihood. Thus this show is extremely rare because it touches all the high points, to where Third-Genders are still struggling.
From beginning only through Saumya (character played by actress Rubina Dilaik) and Harman (character played by actor Vivian Dsena); the way they tried to change the perception of the society towards the Trans-gender is highly applaud able. If you are following the show from the beginning you might have realized it by yourself and the now the news which we are going to share will make you more proud if you are a fan of this show.
As reported earlier, in the serial ‘Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ you will witness the episodes which will throw the light on the VOTING RIGHTS OF TRANS-GENDER, by showing how Advocate Rajat Singh (character played by Ronit Bose Roy) will help Saumya to get her Voter Identification Card so that she as a third-gender can vote too. Through this maker wants to send a message to the people of the society that Trans-gender also have a Right To Give Vote and no one can stop them by doing it.
Now ahead in the story, Harman (Saumya’s husband) will take one more bolder step when she will struggle to use public toilet. You, read it right in the upcoming episodes the show will once again raise their voice against building a Public Toilets for Trans-gender too instead of just making it for Man and Woman.

Well, seeing this we hope the people of the society change their perception towards the Trans-Gender as they too have a Right to live a normal life. The makers and the actors of the show are really doing a great work by pointing and raising the voice against the gender equality.
