The episode begins with Tanushri asking Rishi why he is not picking up Jhanak’s calls. And why is he doing this when Jhanak is struggling alone in the village? Rishi says it’s not like he is punishing Jhanak. Tanushri says Rishi feels Jhanak loves villagers so much, but it’s not like that. She says villagers are Jhanak’s responsibility and Jhanak loves Rishi only. She asks him not to think Jhanak chose villagers over him. Rishi says he is just sad Jhanak did not come with him.
Tanushri asks him how he can expect Jhanak to choose him when Parashar is in the police station. Rishi says DIG suspended him. And he should not have chosen family over a government job, according to the DIG. But he doesn’t regret supporting Parashar. Tanushri asks him not to punish himself. Rishi says he is tired. And he is feeling sad that he is not able to spend time with Jhanak and his family. Dadabhai asks Rishi not to expect normal things from Jhanak because she is special. He reminds Rishi that the latter fell for Jhanak, seeing her special character.
The next day, Rishi meets DIG. DIG asks Rishi not to mix personal and professional life. He says Rishi’s intention was good but the way was wrong. Rishi says he did not want to challenge authority. DIG asks Rishi to sign the declaration paper in which he agrees he did wrong but won’t repeat. And he will withdraw the suspension order. Because he doesn’t want to lose an honest officer like Rishi. Rishi asks whether DIG thinks he did wrong. DIG says Rishi did not follow the procedure. Rishi refuses to sign the declaration paper. And he did nothing wrong in supporting Parashar. DIG says Rishi did not follow the procedure. Rishi says he needs time to think. DIG asks Rishi to think well. Rishi leaves from there.
On the other side, Tosu asks why Rishi is not calling Jhanak. Jhanak says her distance keeps increasing with Rishi. And she doesn’t know how to handle it because Rishi is not saying anything. Tosu tells Jhanak to manage it before it becomes late. Jhanak says she can’t leave Simulboni now. And she has committee responsibilities too. Tosu asks Jhanak to not worry about committee responsibilities because she will handle that. Jhanak decides to meet Rishi.
The next day, Abhimanyu says he is worried about Rishi’s future. He asks Tanushri how to react now because Rishi quit his job. Tanushri tells him that Rishi went to support Jhanak. Abhimanyu says it will affect the future of Rishi and Jhanak. Dadabhai asks Abhimanyu to not worry because Rishi will handle everything.
In the Simulboni, Jhanak gets shocked seeing Rishi there. Rishi tells her that he quit his job. He says he chose Jhanak, and he wants to support her. Jhanak hugs him. Rishi says he can’t tolerate their separation.
Later, Mishti tells her family that she talked to Jhanak and Jhanak sounded peaceful. Tanushri says Jhanak can’t leave Simulboni in this situation. Abhimanyu says Rishi could have supported Jhanak without quitting his job too. Tanushri defends Rishi’s decision. She says she is proud of Rishi.
Meanwhile, Rishi discusses Parashar’s case with Veer and Dhamu. He says they should find out who is behind this plot.

Our take: Rishi quitting his job for Jhanak is unnecessary. But that’s his decision. Jhanak is lucky to get Rishi’s support in this situation.
