The episode begins with Arshi saying Parashar must be happy. Parashar says he is proud but also nervous. Because becoming a good politician is not easy. Everyone sits. Anjana sees Jhanak’s poster and thinks Nutan should have been there. Jhanak comes there with Rishi. Everyone claps. The politician welcomes Jhanak and calls her “Minister.” Jhanak tells him it still feels like a dream. She takes elders’ blessings. She tells them her journey started from their house. And she could reach this place because of them. Putul says all the credit goes to Jhanak’s hard work.
Parashar says no one can break Jhanak now. He tells her to show the world humanity and justice mean Jhanak. Jhanak says she understood. Host calls Jhanak to the stage. Jhanak goes to the stage and takes an oath. Aniruddh recalls the moments he spent with Nutan. Parashar also recalls the moments he spent with Nutan.
Jhanak promises to fulfill her responsibility. And her priority will be humanity. She says she will do service for her people. Tanushri proudly tells Rishi that Jhanak is speaking well. She tells Indumati that she blamed Jhanak for everything in the beginning, but she was wrong. She says Aditi is a good girl, but Jhanak is the right girl for Rishi. Rishi thinks Jhanak saw everything, but she is strong still. Everyone claps for Jhanak. Dhamu chants, “Simulboni ki beti Zindabaad.” Parashar looks at Jhanak proudly.
Later, Jhanak talks to Nutan’s photo. She asks Nutan to see where life took her. She says she is standing as minister in front of Nutan. She thanks Nutan for giving everything to her. And she knows Nutan is with her. She wishes to stay with Rishi always. She asks her mother to bless them. Rishi comes there and calls her “minister.” He asks her what she is doing there, leaving the victory celebration. Jhanak tells him that she is not habituated to all that. And she gets peace in this place. Rishi tells her this is her mother’s house; that’s why she feels like that. Jhanak recalls the moments she spent with Nutan there.
Rishi says Jhanak loves each and every villager. And she has to face the system while helping people. Jhanak tells him that he lost his peace because of her. Rishi tells her it’s not like that. And Jhanak deserves all this. Jhanak tells him that she feels bad for him because he left his job for her. She says she knows Rishi sacrificed for her. Rishi tells her that he can’t choose his career over her. Jhanak tells him she knows it won’t be easy for him. Rishi asks her to change the topic.
Jhanak tells him that villagers are impressed with him. She says she wants to do so much for Simulboni. And she wants to open a school and clinic there. Also, she wants to open a training center for women. But she doesn’t know whether she can do all this or not. Rishi assures her she can achieve everything. And Nutan must be happy seeing Jhanak like this. Jhanak hugs him. Rishi clicks Jhanak’s photo and salutes. He says real work is pending.
The show ends.
Our take: Everyone got a happy ending, but Nutan deserved better. Jhanak becoming a politician at the end of the show doesn’t justify all the struggle she did to become a doctor. Aditi also got a happy ending, which is good. Rishi sacrificed so much for Jhanak, and it’s good she acknowledged that.
