By Smita Pal| Netflix has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming crime series Kohrra. The trailer begins with a young boy and a girl meeting in a field and spotting a dead body in Jagrana, Punjab. The police are also called, and the victim turns out to be an NRI. We then see glimpses of a twisted investigation led by an even more twisted cop named Dhillon who uses every violent tactic he knows.
Kohrra tells two stories of hunting down a killer and navigating love and relationships. Kohraa is a wonderful exploration of human nature, depicting the inner darkness where the search for justice is intertwined with the politics of interpersonal relationships.
Directed by Randeep Jah, Kohrra is a six-episode series that aims to explore the effects of grief while revealing the characters’ mutual suspicions and hidden secret stories.
Produced by Clean Slate Filmz, the show is created by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia and Sudip Sharma of ‘Paatal Lok’ fame. The show stars Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Harleen Sethi, Varun Badola and Manish Chaudhary.
Kohrra is all set to release on July 15 on Netflix
