The episode starts with Dileep talking to Pushpa about the case. Dileep tells Pushpa that none of them expected Katiyal to make such a move. Pushpa says that if the judge had given the judgment on the same day, Shanaya would have received at least a 10-year prison sentence. Dileep asks Pushpa if they cannot prove that all the documents Katiyal submitted regarding Shanaya’s age are false. Pushpa replies that Katiyal must have done his homework on the case and that it is not that easy to prove. She adds that she has asked the judge to verify whether the documents are real or not. Pushpa also says she still has to prepare for the case as it will now go to the Juvenile Court.
Chirag plays carrom alone while thinking about Prarthna. Pushpa comes to him and asks what he is doing. Chirag says he is playing carrom because Prarthna wanted to see him become a champion. He tells Pushpa that Prarthna was his everything. Pushpa comforts Chirag.
In court, the judge verifies the documents and declares that, according to the reports submitted, Shanaya is a minor. The judge orders that the case be transferred to the Juvenile Court.
Outside the court, Shanaya approaches Pushpa and mocks her, saying that Pushpa wanted to punish her with a 10-year sentence but the case has now been transferred to the Juvenile Court. Shanaya adds that Pushpa should have simply accepted the compensation. Pushpa responds by asking Shanaya how much compensation her father would have wanted if she had died.
At night, Shanaya arrives at Bapodara Chawl with her friends. She tells Pushpa that she brought a cake to celebrate her freedom and mocks that the cake is more expensive than what they can afford. Chirag gets angry, but Pushpa stops him. Shanaya insults Bapodara Chawl, calling it dirty and smelly like the people living there. She then leaves with her friends.
Bapodara tells Pushpa that he had already warned her that ordinary people cannot get justice in front of the rich. He says Shanaya threw the expensive cake there, mocked them, and left. He takes a piece of the cake but then throws it away, saying Shanaya called them “kheeda and makoda,” but he will not accept that insult and will make sure his daughter Prarthna gets justice. He then leaves.
Later, Pushpa meets Shantanu and tells him how Shanaya came to their chawl and insulted everyone. She says his daughter has no repentance for the crime she committed and that he failed to guide her properly. Shantanu replies that it is easy to talk about upbringing and challenges Pushpa to take his daughter and change her. Pushpa says it is not her duty and warns him that if Shanaya becomes a criminal in the future, he will be responsible for it. She cautions him that Shanaya is on the wrong path and leaves. Shantanu looks on.
Pushpa returns home and sees Chirag crying while looking at Prarthna’s photo. She consoles him and asks him not to even think about taking the law into his own hands. Chirag leaves. Ansh asks Pushpa if she can get justice for Prarthna chachi. Pushpa assures him that she will definitely get justice for Prarthna.
Episode ends.
Precap: Katiyal asks Pushpa to take Shanaya into her custody to change her behaviour. The judge asks Pushpa if she is ready to take responsibility for Shanaya.
Our Take: Pushpa refuses to give up even after Shanaya’s case is transferred to the Juvenile Court. Shanaya’s arrogance and her insult at Bapodara Chawl deeply hurt the residents, strengthening Pushpa’s determination to fight for Prarthna’s justice. The judge’s unexpected suggestion that Pushpa take Shanaya’s custody now puts her in a difficult moral dilemma.
