The episode starts with Pushpa meeting a mango vendor and learning that Commissioner Tejaswi did not order mangoes from him to send to their chawl on Akshaya Tritiya. Pushpa checks the bills and sees that Shantanu ordered the mangoes for the chawl, not Tejaswi. She asks the vendor to pack a box of mangoes for her.
Pushpa calls Shantanu and asks why he sent mangoes to the entire chawl for Shanaya, and that too without revealing his identity. Shantanu explains that Shanaya had asked him to send mangoes to the whole chawl in Tejaswi’s name, so he took DCP Tejaswi ma’am’s permission and arranged it. Pushpa says she didn’t expect such a positive change in Shanaya. Shantanu asks Pushpa not to tell Shanaya that she found out through him. Pushpa agrees and thinks that Shanaya is surprising her in a good way.
Manva asks Chirag if he knows any hotel or place where she can stay. Chirag says it’s not safe for her to stay in a hotel in this situation. He asks where she plans to stay or if she knows anyone in the city. Manva says she knows Bapodhara from Bapodhara chawl. He had come to her house with a marriage proposal for his son-in-law, but since she was in love with someone else, she created a situation to reject it. Because of this, Bapodhara is upset with her and her family.
Pushpa distributes mangoes to the kids. She tells Shanaya that she made her father send mangoes to the chawl and asks why she didn’t tell anyone. Shanaya says she doesn’t want to reveal it. Pushpa returns Shanaya’s ring to her. Shanaya says she donated it for the Bappa idol. Pushpa replies that she already contributed money on her behalf. She adds that Shanaya’s change has begun, even if she doesn’t realize it yet. Shanaya then says she wants to eat mangoes, and Pushpa happily agrees.
Chirag tells Manva that Bapodhara had actually come to her house with a proposal for him, and that he is a widower. Manva apologizes, saying she refused because she was in love, but her lover betrayed her. She again asks him to take her to a hotel. Chirag promises to take her to a safe place instead.
On the way, Manva asks Chirag if he is upset with her. He replies that he has many other problems to focus on, so this doesn’t matter to him. Chirag brings Manva to the chawl. Bapodhara sees her from upstairs and recognizes her, wondering why Jagadeesh’s daughter Manva is there.
Pushpa asks Chirag who she is. Chirag explains that Manva is Jagadeesh’s daughter. Pushpa says that Jagadeesh had called her earlier. She asks Manva why she looks sad. Chirag explains that Manva came to Mumbai for a visa interview so she could go to London to live with her lover, but he betrayed her. Pushpa consoles Manva.
Bapodhara comes downstairs and says that Manva insulted him at her house, so he cannot allow her to stay in the chawl. Pushpa firmly says that Manva will stay in her house and reminds him that she is Jagadeesh’s daughter. Bapodhara gives Manva 24 hours to leave the chawl and walks away. Shanaya comforts Manva.
Pushpa advises Manva that it’s better to tell the truth to her parents, otherwise she won’t be able to stay long. Shanaya suggests that Manva can stay if they tell everyone that she is there to get to know Chirag, since Bapodhara had brought his proposal earlier. Pushpa asks for Chirag’s permission, and he agrees.
Bapodhara calls Jagadeesh and tells him to take Manva away from the chawl within 24 hours. Jagadeesh says Manva made a mistake, but asks him not to ruin their relationship over it. Bapodhara refuses to forgive her and cuts the call. Pushpa tells Manva not to worry.
