By Gossips TV : Star Plus’ upcoming drama Sairaab has officially locked Rohit Chandel and Madirakshi Mundle as the lead pair. Gossips TV exclusively learned that the show is the official Hindi remake of the popular Kannada series Manasella Neene.
The romantic family drama is expected to showcase an emotional and layered love story with music, relationships and personal struggles at its core. The makers have reportedly adapted the original Kannada storyline with several changes for the Hindi audience while retaining the emotional essence of the show.
As per the official synopsis, Dr. Anusree lives a peaceful life with her daughter Ujjayani. Her calm and balanced world takes an unexpected turn after the entry of famous pop star Bob. Their journey together slowly brings emotional turmoil, unspoken feelings and complicated moments that begin to change their lives forever.
The original Kannada version revolved around the evolving relationship between a single mother and a musician from two completely different worlds. The Hindi remake is also expected to explore themes of love, emotional healing, family responsibilities and personal growth through the journeys of Anusree and Bob.
Rohit Chandel and Madirakshi Mundle’s fresh pairing has already started generating curiosity among viewers. Industry sources suggest the show will feature an emotional narrative backed by dramatic twists, romance and strong family emotions, making it one of Star Plus’ notable upcoming launches. The show is set to premiere on June 2nd replacing Advocate Anjali Awasthi.
