The episode starts with Dev saying to Abhir, Vani, and Uditanshu that Sheetal was speaking without any sign of nervousness, so he thinks she was telling the truth. Dev tells Abhir that this is called the study of body language. Dev recalls Sunny’s behaviour and thinks he lied for some reason. Dev leaves from there, and Vani goes after him.
Vani comes to Dev and asks him what happened. She asks if he is worried about the enquiry. Dev says he is not worried about the enquiry because they have not done anything wrong. Dev tells Vani that he is worried about Shristi. He says he doesn’t know why Sunny lied to the investigator. After hearing what happened, Vani asks Dev how Sunny could lie to the investigator. Vani tells Dev that it was Sunny’s idea to act as Dr Dev in front of Chandini and says they are witnesses to it. Vani tells Dev that they should talk to Sunny. Dev says there is no use because Shristi thinks what Sunny is doing is right.
Dev says he doesn’t know why Sunny is doing this. He says that he, Girish, Shristi, and Sunny used to go to college together. Dev says Ishita’s wedding happened with Sunny only because Sunny is his friend.
Vani clarifies to Dev that Sunny is not in his inner circle. Dev asks Vani how that could be possible.
Vani says to Dev that his inner circle includes Girish, his parents, Jia, and Pratibha. She says that interns and business partners are in his outer circle. Vani says Shristi is somewhere between his inner and outer circles. She adds that Devayani and Sunny used to be in the outer circle, though she doesn’t know the reason for it. Dev asks Vani where she is in this circle. Vani tells Dev that she is his world and says that they used to love each other. Dev is surprised to hear this.
Manohar tells Shristi that he is the best investigator in the medical association and that he will find out the truth. Later, Manohar asks Shristi what she thinks about Vani. Shristi says that Vani is one of their best doctors. Manohar asks Shristi if she thinks Vani is too close to Dev, as their work timings are the same most of the time.
Vani tells Dev that she was just joking with him. Dev says he was shocked for a second. He tells Vani that he doesn’t know much about the past, then writes Vani’s name very close to his own and says that she is the closest person to him right now. Vani feels happy hearing this.
Shristi tells Manohar that if he thinks he can ruin Dev’s reputation in this way and close the case, then he is wrong. She comments further on it and leaves from there.
Shristi notices Dev and Vani leaving the room, and she sees that Vani’s name is written very close to Dev’s. Shristi becomes suspicious after seeing this.
Dev and Vani notice Sheetal meeting a guy named Rocky, and both of them are trying to escape from the hospital. Dev and Vani stop Sheetal and confront her. Sheetal explains that she loves Rocky and does not want to marry an NRI. Dev asks Sheetal if that was the reason she wore sneakers and tripped because of the lehanga. Sheetal tells Dev that she got a call from Rocky and went to answer it, but stepped on the carpet and fell down. Vani tells Dev that Sheetal is giving them another reason. Dev tells Rocky that if he truly loves Sheetal, he needs to keep her in the hospital so they can diagnose her and find out her problem. Rocky agrees to keep Sheetal there after hearing this.
Later, Vani talks to Girish about Sheetal’s condition. Girish asks Vani to allow him to study the file and says he will talk to her later. Girish later asks Vani what she wants to talk about regarding Dr Dev. Vani reminds Girish that Dev has recalled something that happened two years ago, so she is thinking about proactively helping him recall moments between them. She mentions that their anniversary is coming soon and that she wants to recreate those moments. Girish wishes Vani all the best.
