The episode starts with Deepa asking Karthik to leave Jyoti and saying that he has no right to stop her from taking Jyoti. Karthik tells Deepa that he might have no right, but Jyoti will not leave today. Deepa asks Karthik why that is. Karthik tells Deepa that it is not safe for Jyoti to be in the village. Deepa asks Karthik why he is speaking like that. Karthik remains silent. Deepa tells Karthik that she is ready to fight against anyone for Jyoti.
Deepa asks Jyoti to come with her. Jyoti tells Deepa that she does not want to leave. She says she wants both Karthik and Deepa. Deepa tells Jyoti that they have no one besides each other. Jyoti replies that Deepa says she is both her father and mother, but she cannot call her “father,” so she found a father for herself and says that Karthik is her father. Deepa feels shattered hearing this.
Deepa says she is tired of proving her character to everyone. She says that everyone is questioning her character just because Karthik is helping her. Deepa asks Kanchan to understand her situation and allow her to leave with Jyoti. Kanchan remains silent.
Deepa asks Karthik to please allow them to leave. She begs Jyoti to come with her. Jyoti refuses and tells Deepa that she will only come if Karthik comes with them to the village. Jyoti asks Deepa that if she can make Karthik her friend, why can’t she make him her father? Deepa comments on this.
Karthik takes the sindoor from God’s feet and applies it to Deepa’s hairline. He tells Deepa that from today onward, he is Jyoti’s father. Deepa asks Karthik what he has done. Kanika witnesses this.
Jyoti asks Karthik if putting red color in Deepa’s hairline makes him her father. Karthik tells Jyoti that it is not just red color, but sindoor. He says it is a promise that he will always protect Deepa and her. Jyoti feels excited thinking that Karthik is going to be her father.
Kanika sarcastically claps for Deepa. She accuses Deepa of playing the victim card as a single mother and manipulating Karthik into becoming her hero and savior. Deepa tries to explain herself to Kanika. Kanika accuses Deepa of ruining her pre-engagement ceremony, then her engagement ceremony, and now stealing Karthik from her. She calls Deepa a cheater. Karthik stops Kanika.
Karthik tells Kanika that he wanted to tell her the truth many times but was unable to. He says he always saw her as just a friend and nothing more. Karthik returns the engagement ring to Kanika and tells her that she deserves someone who truly loves her.
Kanika argues with Kanchan, saying that she always claimed Kanika would become this house’s daughter-in-law. Kanika tells Kanchan that she gave her the identity of this house’s daughter-in-law, but now she has not said a word while Karthik is marrying Deepa. She says Kanchan has become a silent spectator.
Kanika tells Deepa that she will ruin her and makes hurtful comments before leaving.
Deepa feels shattered and leaves Karthik’s house. Karthik tries to go after her. Kanchan asks Karthik if he has any idea what he has done. Karthik replies that he has done what is right for their family.
The episode ends.
Precap: Bhagyasree accuses Deepa of betraying her. Kailashnath asks Deepa to leave the house. Kanika throws Deepa out of the house. Karthik catches Deepa and warns Kanika not to insult her, saying that Deepa is his wife.
Our take:- Karthik’s impulsive decision may have protected Deepa’s dignity, but it has also ignited a storm within the family.
Jyoti’s innocent wish became the turning point that changed everyone’s lives forever.
Now the real question is whether this marriage will bring love and stability — or more heartbreak and revenge.
