The episode opens with Mayank being pressured into committing a shocking crime. He is told that only by murdering a businessman will he secure his political opportunity and protect his position. The suggestion leaves him deeply conflicted, yet the lure of power hangs heavily over his decision.
Meanwhile, Ritika urgently calls Ranjan with devastating news: Praveen has died. Ranjan is completely stunned and momentarily speechless. Memories rush back to him—especially the harsh moment when he had thrown Praveen out of his office. Ritika pleads with Ranjan to at least visit Roshni’s house during this difficult time. However, Ranjan remains indecisive, unable to immediately choose what he should do.
As events unfold, Praveen’s body is prepared to be taken to the crematorium. In a powerful and emotional moment, Roshni declares that she herself will perform the last rites and light the funeral pyre for her father. With determination and grief intertwined, she leaves for the cremation ground.
Despite the gravity of the situation, Ranjan does not immediately go to Roshni’s house. Instead, he chooses to attend a social gathering with Meghna and her family, clearly prioritizing that engagement over paying his respects. He postpones his visit, a decision that further complicates matters emotionally.
Soon, Roshni learns an important detail: before his death, her father had gone to meet Ranjan at his office. He had even been carrying a photograph from Roshni’s wedding, which is now found stained with blood. This discovery intensifies the mystery and the emotional weight of the situation.
Eventually, Ranjan does arrive at the funeral. His presence immediately sparks confrontation. Roshni directly questions him about what transpired on the day her father visited his office. Internally, Ranjan remembers how brutally he had insulted Praveen, but outwardly he refuses to admit the truth. Instead, he offers vague and unconvincing explanations.
Roshni’s mother, overwhelmed with grief, reveals that Praveen’s deepest wish had been to reunite his daughter with her husband. Sadly, that dream remained unfulfilled. Ranjan, uncomfortable and defensive, continues making weak excuses before quickly leaving the scene.
Later, there is a suggestion that Roshni’s mother and sister should move into Ranjan’s house for support. However, her mother firmly refuses, unwilling to stay in her son-in-law’s home after everything that has happened. Roshni then opens up about the humiliation she herself faced at Ranjan’s hands, explaining the emotional wounds she has been carrying.
With gentle persuasion and emotional intervention from Isha, Roshni’s mother finally begins to understand the depth of her daughter’s suffering. Though the pain of loss remains fresh, this moment creates a small but meaningful shift in her perspective, hinting at possible emotional reconciliation in the future.
The episode ends.
