By Gossips TV : In a big programming shake-up, Sony TV is set to revamp its evening prime-time slots with three of its ongoing shows shifting timings from 18th August.
The much-loved Bade Acche Lagte Hain Naya Season, which recently took a six-month leap, will now air at 8:00 PM instead of 8:30 PM. Before leap storyline saw Bhagyashree (Shivangi Joshi) discovering Rishabh’s (Harshad Chopda) vengeful motives, setting the stage for fresh drama and twists after leap. Fans will now catch the episodes half an hour earlier.
Filling the 8:30 PM slot will be the historical drama Samrat Prithvi Raaj Chauhan, which too enters a new phase. Post-leap, the show will focus on the grown-up lives of Prithviraj (played by Samarthya Gupta) and Sanyogita (Priyanshi Yadav), promising an epic love saga mixed with valor and politics.
On the other hand, Aami Daakini starring Hitesh Bharadwaj and Rachi Sharma is speculated to shift to the 7:30 PM slot. While official confirmation is awaited, industry buzz suggests the change is being considered to strengthen the channel’s early prime-time viewership.
With these adjustments, Sony TV is clearly aiming to create a seamless flow of engaging content from 7:30 to 9:00 PM, balancing romance, history, and fantasy drama for its audiences.
