The episode starts with Sumitra standing by a flowing river, her heart heavy with emotions she can no longer contain. In a symbolic act of surrender and hope, she writes a letter addressed to the Almighty and lets it drift into the water, trusting fate to take its course. Against all odds, the letter reaches Raj. Intrigued by the unexpected arrival, he opens it and begins to read. As he goes through the words, his expressions change—shock, realization, and then deep pain. He understands that the letter was written by his own daughter. Memories of his strained and traumatic relationship with Sumitra flood his mind, leaving him shaken. Though hurt and disappointed, he carefully preserves the letter, as if it carries a piece of his broken past.
Meanwhile, on the same day, an unexpected visitor arrives at Roshni’s house Kirti, Mayank’s ex-wife. Her sudden appearance leaves Roshni stunned. Seeing Kirti after so long triggers a wave of memories, both bitter and emotional. Kirti begins to narrate her painful journey. She reveals how she endured her pregnancy while serving three years in jail, a time filled with loneliness and suffering. After giving birth, she was separated from her child, who was sent to an orphanage. Once released, she spent an entire year searching relentlessly for her son, almost losing her sanity in the process. Eventually, she found him and reunited with him, bringing a flicker of hope back into her life.
Kirti also shares how difficult it has been to rebuild her life. She worked as a housemaid, but every time her past was discovered, she was thrown out. Her struggles evoke sympathy in Roshni, but Ritika remains firm and unwelcoming. Ritika refuses to accept Kirti under any circumstances. However, Roshni believes in second chances. Remembering how she once failed to give Raj an opportunity to prove himself, she decides not to repeat the same mistake. She allows Kirti to stay in the house with her son Visesh. This decision deeply frustrates Ritika, creating tension between the two.
On the other side, Raj is shown living a modest life in a small house, far removed from his past. Though he tries to suppress his memories, they continue to haunt him. The letter he received only intensifies his emotions. He spends his time teaching underprivileged students who aspire to clear the UPSC exams. In return, one of the young girls offers him homemade food instead of money. She has quietly developed feelings for Raj, but he remains distant, unwilling to open his heart again.
Back at the Ranjan house, the atmosphere grows uneasy. Ritika, though unhappy, reluctantly accepts Kirti’s presence due to Roshni’s insistence. Roshni stands firm in her belief that people deserve a chance to change.
The next day brings another turning point. Mayank is released from jail, and both Roshni and Ritika go to receive him. However, the moment he steps into the house and sees Kirti, his anger explodes. Unable to control his rage, he demands that Roshni throw Kirti out immediately, setting the stage for a major confrontation.
