The episode starts with Abhir coming to Vani and teasing her for biting her pencil. Vani tells Abhir that she is worried about Jia because, no matter what treatment they try, Jia’s electrolytes are not improving. Abhir tells Vani that they will only understand Jia’s condition properly if they can examine her clearly. Vani says that they should perform an endoscopy on Jia. She thanks Abhir for the idea and leaves.
Sunny and Uditanshu come to Chandini and talk to her. Sunny asks Chandini why she has come to the hospital. Chandini tells Sunny that she is planning to make a comeback in the entertainment industry with a new show, and she felt dizzy during a shoot. She says that is why she came to the hospital for a check-up. Chandini asks Sunny to call Dr. Dev and says that Dr. Dev treated her seven years ago. Uditanshu tells Chandini that Dr. Dev is not here. Chandini says that she will only get treated by Dr. Dev. Sunny tells her that Dr. Dev has gone somewhere and will return after a while. Sunny then leaves.
Shristi informs Dr. Vani, Dr. Girish, and Digvijay that she learned from Jia’s hostel that Jia has very irregular eating habits. She says that Jia either eats a lot of food or does not eat at all. Shristi also reveals that after eating, Jia goes to the washroom to vomit. She says Jia is obsessed with looking thin. Digvijay asks Shristi why Jia does this. Dev says it might be Bulimia Nervosa. He tells Girish, who is the psychiatrist, to confirm it. Girish confirms that Jia is suffering from Bulimia Nervosa. Dev says he does not understand who made Jia believe that she is fat. Girish says that social media could be one reason, as many people try to stay thin to look attractive, and another reason could be Dev and Shristi’s separation. Girish suggests that along with therapy, Jia also needs care and support from both her parents.
Sunny comes to Dev and tells him that he needs to become the Head of Medicine once again. Sunny explains that Chandini Khanna wants to be treated only by Dev Mehta. He says that if a celebrity leaves the hospital without treatment, the hospital’s reputation will be damaged, and Shristi will face more problems regarding funding. Dev apologizes to Sunny and says that he cannot become the Head of Medicine right now because he needs to focus on Jia. Sunny tries to convince Dev, but Dev refuses.
Raunak secretly brings a dog into the hospital. Tanya hears barking sounds. At the same time, Raunak sneezes to cover up the noise. Later, the dog comes in front of Tanya, and she gets scared. Raunak explains to Abhir and Tanya that the dog belongs to his roommate, who left because of a family emergency, so he has to take care of it. Abhir scolds Raunak for bringing a dog into the hospital. The dog then runs out of the doctors’ room, and Abhir and the others begin searching for it.
Abhir and the others find the dog sitting in a trolley. Abhir tries to distract Pratibha so that Raunak can take the dog away, but he fails. Sunny comes out of the cabin, and the dog suddenly starts barking.
Shrsiti, Dev make sure Jia eats her food and they stop Jia when she tries to go the washroom. Dev and Shrsiti confront Jia and try to find the out the reason about why is she obsessed with looking thin. Digvijay also questions Jia.
