The episode starts with Manohar and some other people coming to JBMMC Hospital.
Manohar introduces himself as the investigative officer from the medical association and says that he came here to investigate Dev Mehta’s case.
Manohar questions Shristi, Sunny, and the doctors about Chandini Khanna and her treatment. Shristi and the others reveal to Manohar that Chandini Khanna insisted that she wanted treatment from Dev Mehta because Dev Mehta was the one who treated Chandini 7 years ago. Dev also talks to Manohar. Manohar questions Dev about why he disguised himself as a doctor in front of Chandini. Dev says he did it to make Chandini accept medical treatment. Manohar asks Shristi and Sunny if they know about Dev disguising himself in front of Chandini. Shristi says yes, but Sunny says no to Manohar.
Dev confronts Sunny about why he lied to Manohar. Sunny tells Dev that he wants to protect the hospital. Sunny argues with Dev and says that no matter what, if a scandal comes out, the CEO will be the first one who has to resign. Sunny says he wants to stay out of this scandal so that if the investigation does not go in their favour, someone will be present to handle the hospital. After some time, Shristi tells Dev that Sunny might be right and comments on it. Dev tells Sunny that he might convince everyone with his explanation, but not him. Dev leaves from there, and Shristi goes after him.
Devayani praises Sunny for his acting as he made everyone believe his lie. Sunny comments on it.
Ananya complains to Chetan that he always goes to Devayani to complain. Chetan says he only spoke to Devayani casually. Chetan asks Ananya to select a wedding dress. Raunak and Uditanshu come between them and comment on the wedding dresses. Ananya sends them away and also asks Chetan to leave, saying that she is not in the mood to select wedding dresses. Chetan agrees and leaves from there.
Tanya asks Ananya if she is not happy about her wedding with Chetan, as she is always rude to him. Ananya stays silent and leaves from there.
Vani asks Sheetal why she used her right hand if she slipped while being left-handed. Sheetal says that she was holding a phone in her left hand. Sheetal says she suddenly realised that she was wearing sneakers, so she wanted to change them, but she heard the sound of the baraat, so she wanted to take a selfie. Sheetal says that at that time there was water on the floor, so she slipped and fell. Vani and the other doctors reveal to Sheetal that this is the third story she has told them. Sheetal asks Vani and the others if they are having fun. Dev closely observes Sheetal the entire time.
The doctors talk about Sheetal and her lies in the cafeteria. Dev explains to Abhir and the other doctors that Sheetal was not lying. Dev says that if Sheetal were lying, she would have shown some kind of sign. Dev says that if a right-handed person lies, then their eyeballs would automatically look to the left side because they have to create a story in their mind at the same time. Dev says this is part of the study of body language. Dev recalls Sunny’s behaviour before he spoke to them and realises that Sunny lied to them.
