The episode starts with Manohar warning Dev and the rest of the doctors that if they treat Sheetal Kapadia for Korsakoff syndrome, he will mention it in his report. Dev argues with Manohar and tells him that he will see how Manohar stops them from giving the right treatment. Manohar asks Dev if he will treat the patient even though he is a junior aide. Dev says yes and tells Manohar that the patient is his top priority. Manohar tells Dev that his diagnosis about Sheetal having Korsakoff syndrome is correct, but he had to provoke him so that he would admit the truth. Manohar says to Dev that he will send this report to the medical association and comments on it.
Shristi scolds Dev over the phone because he has fallen into Manohar’s trap. Shristi tells Dev that she is worried about him. Dev asks Shristi not to worry and says that he can take care of himself. Shristi comments on it. Jia takes the phone from Shristi and asks Dev to eat the food she sent him. Dev agrees and asks Jia to tell Shristi not to worry about him. Shristi asks Jia not to tell her what Dev said, as her anger will not calm down. Digvijay asks Shristi how she knows Dev told something to Jia. Shristi says Dev may have forgotten his memory, but she has not, and says she knows when Dev uses Jia to calm her down.
Sunny tells Devayani that Dev has made a fool of himself in front of Manohar. Devayani says that it is not enough and asks Sunny to make Dev commit another mistake in front of Manohar Shukla so that Dev will be forced to leave the hospital. Sunny agrees.
Dev eats the food sent by Jia. Dev asks Vani to talk to Sheetal’s family about her condition because Manohar will keep an eye on him. Vani agrees.
Vani tells Sheetal’s family that Sheetal has Korsakoff syndrome. Vani explains that due to this syndrome, Sheetal cannot form memories properly and instead creates false memories. Vani says this happens due to a Vitamin B1 deficiency and adds that because of the syndrome, Sheetal might also forget certain things. Rocky, who is disguised as a ward boy, becomes worried for Sheetal after hearing this and speaks to the doctor. Jignesh asks Rocky why he is so worried about Sheetal. Dev makes up a reason and covers for Rocky. Jignesh asks Vani to simply tell him when Sheetal can be discharged from the hospital, as he needs to marry her. Girish says that Sheetal needs to stay in the hospital for a few more days. Jignesh’s mother says they can call the registrar to the hospital and conduct Jignesh and Sheetal’s wedding there. Jignesh says they can then invest the money saved for the children. Dev asks Jignesh how he can make decisions about the children alone and says that he should also ask Sheetal about it. Jignesh asks Sheetal what there is to ask her, as she is the one who has to do it. Jignesh says that Sheetal is only a graduate and not an Ivy League graduate like him, so she will not get a job, and it is better for her to stay at home and take care of the children. Sheetal’s family later leaves.
Sheetal tells Dev and Vani that she has now realised why she wanted to run away with Rocky, as Jignesh never respects women and always looks down on them. Ananya hears this and thinks about her own situation. Dev encourages Sheetal and Rocky to tell Sheetal’s parents about their love. Sheetal says they will not understand and comments on it. Later, Dev encourages Rocky to tell Sheetal’s family the truth about their relationship. Rocky agrees and leaves.
Rocky later comes to Sheetal’s family and tells them that he loves Sheetal. Dev also speaks to Sheetal’s family about love. Vani thinks that these were the exact words Dev had once said to her. Rocky praises Dev for what he said about love. Sheetal’s mother asks Sheetal if she knows Rocky. Sheetal walks toward Rocky, but she slips and catches herself. Sheetal then forgets about Rocky and asks him who he is.
Episode ends.

Our take:- Dev once again proved that he will always stand for his patients, even if it puts his career at risk.
Sheetal finally understood Jignesh’s true nature, but her heartbreaking memory loss twist changed everything for Rocky.
The emotional climax has now made us even more curious to see whether love can bring Sheetal’s memories back.
