The episode starts with Vani telling the other doctors that these are the work schedules for this week and asking them to check them. Vani says they will not be changed again.
Abhir comes and informs the doctors about Shristi’s engagement tomorrow. Abhir says Dev informed him. Vani asks Abhir if Dev was alright when he told him this. Abhir says yes. Vani goes to check on Dev.
Vani comes to Dev and asks him if he is alright. Dev says yes. Vani comments that Dev is lying. Vani says that the diary in front of him is upside down, so he is clearly not okay. Dev admits it and asks Vani not to tell anyone. Vani agrees. Dev tells Vani that he will try not to break down, but if he does, he hopes she can handle him. Vani agrees.
The next day, Dev prepares for Digvijay and Shristi’s engagement. Shristi and Jia come to the house. Dev asks Shristi to go and get ready, as he has called a professional makeup artist. Dev notices that Jia’s nail color is different and that she also has dark circles. Dev asks Jia about it. Jia tells Dev that this is not his hospital. Shristi says they should not talk about the hospital there. Shristi leaves from there.
A delivery boy brings the standee ordered by Jia. Dev asks Jia what the standee is for. Jia says she prepared it for the engagement and shows it to Dev. Dev looks at the standee of Digvijay and Shristi and says it is great. Shristi witnesses this from afar.
While getting her makeup done, Shristi thinks about Dev telling her how much he loves her.
Dev looks at himself in the mirror and thinks that he cannot look sad. He smiles to himself.
Dev serves drinks to all the guests. Girish takes the tray from Dev and puts it away. Girish asks Dev if he is alright. Dev says yes and says that just because he has lost eight years of his memories does not mean others have no right to live. Girish asks Dev to stop thinking like that and comments on it. Dev says he feels like those eight years were a desert. Vani comes to Dev’s house. Seeing Vani, Girish tells Dev that there was also an oasis in his life. Dev asks Girish if he knew about his love. Girish asks Dev how he knew. Dev says it does not matter, but he is angry at Girish for not telling him. Girish tells Dev that, as a doctor, he thought Dev would not be able to handle the truth and comments on it.
Abhir sees Vani and tries to go to her with drinks, but Sarita, an elderly lady, takes the drinks from him and drinks them, thinking he is a waiter. She comments on him. Abhir clarifies that he is not a waiter and comments on it.
Vani sees that Girish is about to tell Dev about his love. Vani drops a glass on the floor. Dev asks Vani if she is alright. Vani says yes. Later, Vani takes Girish aside and asks him not to tell Dev that she is the one he loved in the past, as Dev thinks she is the reason for his breakup with Shristi. Girish says that is wrong and says the truth is that they love each other. Vani comments on it.
Dev comes and sees Sunny, Rishita, and Sasha and talks to them. Sunny gets calls from Devayani, but he cuts her calls.
Dev learns from others that Shristi is not coming out of her room. Dev sends everyone away and asks Shristi to open the door. Shristi opens the door.
Shristi tells Dev that she feels something is wrong. Dev thinks Shristi is talking about her makeup and says that if they reduce it, it will be okay. Shristi says that with her decision, everything will change. Dev asks Shristi if she is talking about the makeup. Shristi says yes.
Dev comforts Shristi and asks her if Digvijay makes her feel secure and loved, then there is nothing wrong. Dev says that no matter what decision she takes, he will support her. Dev reduces Shristi’s makeup. Shristi thanks Dev.
