In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai today, Suhasini and Swarna invite Birlas for special ritual to perform with Abhimanyu. Mahima asks Suhasini to get the ritual done fast as they are busy professionals.
Akshara calls Abhimanyu. She asks him to come soon as she can’t wait more to see him. They both decide to go to shop their engagement ring. Abhimanyu says to Akshara that he still can’t believe they are going to get engaged. Akshara asks Abhimanyu to come soon. Abhimanyu reach Goenka house. He gets shocked seeing Akshara’s welcome dance.
Vansh picks Abhimanyu in his arm. Abhimanyu says that he was called for the ritual. Akshara asks Abhimanyu to be patient. Abhimanyu feels he is trapped by the Goenkas.
Later, Goenkas serve big food platter to Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu realised Akshara made a dish from sweet potato and he is allergic to eat. He still eats it. Mahima goes mad at Akshara for not knowing about Abhimanyu’s food allergy. Akshara cries.
