Today’s episode starts with villagers saying Sumati and Bondita cannot stay in the village as they are inauspicious. They throw stones at Sumati’s house. Bondita comes out. She questions village people what mistake she has done. Sumati stops Bondita from speaking more.
Sumati asks villagers to give her time as Anirudh will be coming back to take her. Village man asks when. Sundaram says he has sent him letter and he will be coming. Villager says they will wait for sometimes and if Anirudh won’t come on time than they will throw Bondita out from the village. Bondita asks Sumati if she has really sent Anirudh letter. Sumati says yes. Bondita recalls her moments with Anirudh.
There, Somnath asks Anirudh to choose dress for the occasion. Anirudh don’t react. Somnath asks him why he is upset. Anirudh says he doesn’t know. Bihari says Bondita must be in trouble because she is left wife now thus, Anirudh is restless. Bihari says Bondita must be in trouble.
Meanwhile, Devoleena and Sundaram decides to separate Bondita and Sundaram. Here, Sumati sees Gandhi Ji’s picture and asks Bondita who is he. Bondita recalls Anirudh’s word. She thinks Anirudh told her about Gandhiji’s dream India. He says Gandhiji wants each person to be independent and educated. Back to reality; Bondita smiles.
Sumati asks Bondita what she is thinking. Bondita says she is thinking about Anirudh’s word. She tells Sumati about Gandhiji. She says Anirudh used to praise Gandhiji a lot as Gandhji is doing hard work to bring democracy.
Sumati asks Bondita if she wants to return to Anirudh. Bondita recalls her moments with Anirudh and says she only wants to return to Anirudh when he is proud seeing her and not ashamed of her. She adds till this doesn’t happen; Gandhiji is there with her to show her a right path. Sumati waits for Anirudh’s reply.
Other side, Bihari urges Anirudh not to do engagement. He asks Anirudh not to give Bondita’s place to anyone. Anirudh stands confused. Bihari about to tell Anirudh how society treat woman whose husband leaves her but Binoy interrupts him. Binoy stops Bihari from telling Anirudh the truth. Anirudh asks Bihari to complete his talk. Bhari gets scared and asks Anirudh to find answer why he is restless. Binoy asks Anirudh to avoid Bihari’s talk and celebrate the day.
There, Sumati gives auspicious thread to Bondita and asks her to close the door and take care of herself till she comes back. Bondita asks Sumati to come back soon and give auspicious thread to Sumati too. Sumati’s auspicious thread falls down.
Further, Mini gets excited for her engagement. Goddess Durga’s idol breaks by Mini. Mini’s friend says misfortune happened before wedding.
Devoleena and Sundaram sell Bondita on a high price to a man. Sundaram asks Devoleena what wrong she is doing with Bondita. Devoleena says she is doing well of Bondita. Sundaram asks the man to take good care of Bondita.
Later, villagers pour oil at Sumati’s house and decide to burn her along with Bondita. They call Bondita but she doesn’t open the door. Sumati prays for Bondita’s safety.
Here, Sampoorna prays to Goddess Durga to stop the engagement. Binoy and Bhaumik enjoy the occasion. Trilochan comes and taunts Bhaumik.
Other side, villager burns Sumati inside the house. Bondita sees auspicious thread of Sumati and gets restless. She feels Suamti’s life is in danger. She rushes to save her mother.
Bondita manages to save her mother. She enters the burning house. Sumati lies unconscious. Bondita drags Sumati out from the house. (Episode Ends)
Precap: The dancer tells to Anirudh that villagers trouble Bondita but Bondita kept chanting; her Anirudh will come for her rescue. Anirudh stands stunned. Mini gets angry. Sampoorna discloses Bondita’s truth to Anirudh.
