The episode starts with Dong Hee again aiming at Haen San to shoot her. Hae Yi who came back home witnesses it but Dong Hee kidnaps her. Hae Yi manges to untie herself and switches on her phone to call for help. Jae Woo calls her at the same time and before she could answer Dong Hee snatches it from her. She pushes him and starts running away while Dong Hee chases after her. Hae Yi meets with a terrible accident and Dong Hee texts from Hae Yi’s phoen to Jae Woo framing it as a suicide. Haeng San is worried that why would Hae Yi’s phone switches on and off all of a sudden and suspects her to be in danger. She gets call from hospitala nd everyone rushes there. Hae Yi is admitted in ICU while Haeng san is distraughted. Chi Yeol calms down Jae Woo who’s very much tensed about the situation. Young Joo comes there who’s equally worried. Dong Hee also come sthere and pretends to be worried. Doctor says Haeng San and Jae Woo that Hae Yi is in coma and can never predict when she would get back her consciousness. Seon Jae tries to reach out to Hae Yi when their homeroom teacher announces about Hae Yi’s accident. Seon Jae, Dan Ji and Gun Hu rushes out upon hearing this. Haeng San sends Young Joo and Jae Woo to take care of the shop a s they can’t lose their regulars. They both leave.
Once they leave, Dan Ji, Seon Jae and Gun Hu rushes to see Hae Yi. They all panics for he while Haeng San comforts them that Hae Yi would soon be out of vegetative state. Police comes with the news of Hae Yi’s suicide but Haeng San is not ready accopt it as Hae Yi was sos tron willed. Young Joo comes to shop an dJar Woo tries to keep himself busy to forget about Hae Yi. Young Joo encourages him to cry loud and not bottle up his feelings. He break diwn in front of Young Joo . Seon Jae accused Seo Jin for Hae YI’s condition and she asks how she’s doing. He asks if she wants her dead and Seo Jin is take aback. She still tries to persuade him to hang on without revealing the truth. Seon Jae says that she too have a successful career but asks if she’s really happy and Seo Jin as no answers for it. Chi Yeol asks Dong Hee to speak with the Director to postpone or cancel the math camp as he can’t take up the program with the current situation. Dong Hee agrees but when the Director called he neither requested to cancel or postpone and assures that Chi Yeol would attend it.
Su Ah hears her mother discussing about Hae Yi’s suicide through phone call and acts violent over the same as she herself could be in Hae Yi’s place. Su Hee is taken aback by her behaviour. Dong Hee is making arrangements for the camp when Chi Yeol asks him if he spoke with the Director. Dong Hee lies that he did but Director didn’t agree as the preparations are in final stage. Chi Yeol agrees and let’s it go. Haeng San notices some red ink in Hae Yi’s palm and gets doubtful. Seo Jin is drinking alone and calls her husband. She despises herself for the person she turned out to be as for a moment she wished it could be better if Hae Yi dies. Su Hee drops Su Ah in school and calls psychiatrist to discuss about her condition. The psychiatrist calls it the extreme anger due to the pressure of enrolling in a good college. At class, the midterm results gets announced and Seon Jae topped the class. Su Ah messed in her studies while Seon Jae learns that Hae Yi submitted empty answer in reading exam. He feels even more guilty and rushes to terrace to commit suicide. Gun Hu saves him on time’and flights with him to stop his continuous stremos to jump off the building. Seon Jae calms down only after Gun Hu took Hae Yi’s name. Gun Hu advises him to face any problem instead of avoiding it’. Seon Jae took his advise and straight away went to his home room teacher to confess.
Haeng San shares with Police about her suspicion. But instead they blamed her back for abusing Hae Yi being her aunt because of which she took the extreme step. Chi Yeol steps in at the time and took stajd for Haeng San. Haeng San shows the ink marks in Hae Yi’s hands and Chi Yeol also gets doubtful. He then gets Director’s call who reveals that Dong Hee never proposed him for postpone or cancellation. Chi Yeol gets suspicious on Dong Hee for the first time. Chi Yeol comes to Dong Hee and angrily confronts him for hindering in his decision making. Dong Hee tries covering it saying that he did it for his own benefit but Chi Yeol is not convinced. He believes that he has been manipulating his decision for long. He lisss his cool when Dong Hee casually mentions about Hae Yi’s death. He throws him out if the job much to the shock of anyone. Chi Yeol gets call from Detectives and visits them. They confirm with him that Chi Yeol found about Jin’s actions but didn’t report it. Chi Yeol understands thst they are suspecting and the reason that they had is that he’s the common factor in all the incidents. They check his index finger for callouses but couldn’t find any. They say that the suspect as callouses in his index finger probably due to the metal ball shooting using catepult. The Detective then asks about Jeong Seong Yeong, brother of Su Yeong but Chi Yeol has no Idea.
Dong Hee is revealed to be Su Yeong’s brother who kilked his mother but escaped from getting acquainted. He then changed hid identity and joined in Chi Yeol’s academy to work for him and protect him as his sister considered him her saviour. He’s furious that Chi Yeol even forgot his sister after dating Haeng San. Hae Yi’s biological mother makes her entry and cries for her daughter. She accuses her for not taking care of Hae Yi properly. Chi Yeol is bewildered at her double standards. He assures Haeng San that she’s a good mother. The Detective visited Seong Young’s house and learns that he shoots metal balls. Seo Jin gets called by school while Seon Jae’s name gets off the toppers list’. His cheating in exam comes as a shock. Dong Hee pleaded Chi Yeol who also accepts him but also checks for his callouses. He finds it and gets devastated. He follows Dong Hee to his house
