The episode starts with Baji recalling Kashi’s words and he then reads Mastani’s letter where she thanks him for spending time with her on her birthday. Baji smiles and then he notices the coal stain on the message. He wonders where it came from. Kashi tells Ganga that Mastani’s room is ready and it’s time to take her to the room. Mastani stays awake all night and says her wait will be over when Baji will come to her.
Baji reaches her after asking the maids and he asks Mastani why she is staying in this dirty place and didn’t tell him anything? Kashi arrives and Baji questions her too as to why she let Mastani stay here? He calls for a Sabha saying he will give justice to Mastani. Kashi tries to make him understand but in vain.
Baji says why Mastani was asked to stay in a dirty place despite being a princess. Radha says because she deserves it and she is a home breaker. Baji says she can’t treat his beloved like that. Radha says this is her house and she has the right to take decision. They allowed Mastani to stay here that’s enough.
Baji says he is the Peshwa and he contributed a lot to build this place so his decision is final. He asks Kashi why she let that happen to Mastani? Mastani says she only accepted Radha’s request as she wanted everyone to accept her happily. Kashi tells Baji that he cant talk to his mother disrespectfully. Radha and Balaji have equally contributed to make him a Peshwa and to protect this wada they did a lot.
She doesn’t support what Radha did but it was her choice. Baji says he just wants justice as he is not here to hear advises. Mastani acts like stopping Baji from stretching the matter. She says she will be happy with him anywhere he stays. Kashi says Baji has lost the right of arguing as he has no guilt for insulting his mother, all because of his love for Mastani.
This is the reason why noone will accept Mastani here. Baji declares that since Mastani faced humiliation and he brought her here from Bundelkhand not to treat her like this, so she will get equal amount of respect like Kashi gets. Mastani will be in the same place like her. Chima objects but Baji says he won’t change his decision. Kashi feels bad thinking Baji’s reputation in front of public is getting ruined.
Mastani tells Baji that he shouldnt have fought with his family to give her all this comfort. She says sometimes she doesn’t feel safe in this wada. Baji replies noone can touch her in his presence. She is safe.
Mastani hugs him and adds she got him that’s enough for her. Baji feels the decoration of Mastani’s room has been done by Kashi. Chimaji, Rakma everyone discuss about Baji’s decision that how can he give the same respect to Mastani like Kashi. They decide to end her chapter which Kashi hears.
Kashi tells them not to do that ever again as it will trigger Baji more. They need to calm him down. Radha says what if Mastani gets the post of Peshwai from Baji some day and if she gives birth to a son, he will even snatch Nanashaheb’s rights as well. Kashi says Baji won’t do that to Nana. Chimaji leaves without promising Kashi that he won’t harm Mastani.
Mastani is about to go to sleep but notices Kashi is leaving some soldiers near her room for her safety. Mastani says she can protect herself, Kashi can tell these guards to leave. Kashi says she should not question her decision all the time. She is doing it for a reason as Mastani might be in trouble. Mastani says she will call Baji if Kashi doesn’t listen to her. Kashi leaves with the guards saying if Mastani wants to be in trouble then fine. Surya tells Radha and Chima that they will attack Mastani at midnight.
Baji performs aarti of Balaji with Kashi and she gets happy to see the old Baji in him. He says he knows she only decorated the room of Mastani. She says she knew this drama would happen so she did it beforehand. Baji asks her means she did this in fear so that he doesn’t learn about what they did to Mastani.
Kashi asks him how did he know that Mastani is staying in the stable. He says he saw coal and dust stain on the message sent by Mastani. Kashi says that’s strange and she tells Baji that Mastani needs to earn the respect she wants. Baji says Mastani will do that one day. He leaves and Kashi says Mastani is creating problems. There some men go to Mastani’s room to kill her.
