The episode starts with Sambath telling Ramya that his dad has a video clip which may related to Anu. Sambath further says that his dad said that video can ruin Anu and Surya’s reputation. Ramya says that his dad might’ve got to know about Anu and Surya’s love matter. They decide to somehow get Ragupathi’s phone and delete that video.
Subu is looking for a good match for Anu in the newspapers. He finds a boy’s profile with 10 years age difference and tells that this age gap is very big. Subu, Pushba and Poorni discuss about age differences between the couples. Anu looks on worried hearing them. Anu receives Surya’s message asking if she had talked to her dad. Poorni asks Anu whose message, why her face expression changed seeing it. Anu stumbles to answer. She receives Surya’s call. Anu doesn’t answer the call. She says that she’s getting late for office and gets ready to leave. Pushba asks Anu to visit the temple before going to the office. Anu nods ok and leaves. Pushba tells that today is Ashtami and that’s why Anu looks worried. She worries about Anu.
Anu visits the temple. She prays to God to give her courage to talk to her father about her love for Surya. Surya comes to the temple and goes and stands in front of Anu, who is praying closing her eyes. Anu opens her eyes and gets surprised seeing Surya in front of her. Surya gives Anu a rose.
Pushba worries about ashtami and tells Subu to be careful while talking with Anu about her marriage matter. Poorni takes Subu’s side which angers Pushba. Pushba asks Subu to find a good match for Anu. Subu tells that he’s searching and he even registered in matrimony sites. Pushba gets glad hearing this. Subu leaves for work. Poorni thinks that Anu’s parents doesn’t suspect Anu. She wonders whether she should tell them or should talk to Anu before.
At the temple, Anu feeds the prasadam to Surya. Anu says that she’s upset, so she has visited the temple. Anu further says that it’s not easy for her to disclose about their love to her dad. She’s a girl and brought up like this and asks Surya to give her some time. Surya agrees, but he asks her to think putting herself in his position too. Surya asks if she thinks their age gap will cause any problems. Anu says that she doesn’t mind about it, but her parents will not think like her. She further says that the other day the priest took them for husband and wife, that means their age differences aren’t that much visible.
Subu is talking to the other colony residents before going to the textile shop. Ragupathi comes there tells the colony residents that Subu doesn’t need to work. Anu is the head of Devanandhi fabrics. She is very close to Surya Prakash and he daily drops Anu at home. Subu and the colony people look shocked hearing this.
