He blamed himself for Lakshmi’s demise. Aishwarya offered emotional support to devasted Kannan. Kannan performed the last rites to Lakshmi. Moorthy took his mother’s ashes home with his brothers except Kannan. Kannan and Aishwarya touched the ashes. Moorthy, Kathir, Jeeva immersed Lakshmi’s ashes without Kannan. Kannan regretted his deed.
In today’s episode, Dhanam remembers Lakshmi’s last words. She shares her last words with the family. She informs Lakshmi’s concern about Kannan to the family. Meena questions Dhanam for sending Kannan out of the house. Kannan and Aishwarya stand outside when the family eats lunch. The Village head urges Kannan to have lunch with his family. Moorthy gets up when Kannan sits next to him. Moorthy distances himself from Kannan. Kannan leaves Moorthy’s house when Moorthy avoids him. The latter, Moorthy justifies his actions to Kathir and Jeeva.
In the upcoming episode, Kannan will shatter about Moorthy’s distance. Saravanan will bring lunch for Kannan and Aishwarya. Saravanan will inform Kannan that this lunch was given by Dhanam.
