Actor Rohit Purohit is excited about bagging Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He replaced Shehzada Dhami as Arman Poddar in the show.
Rajan Shahi terminated Shehzada with immediate effect. He threw Shehzada out for misbehaving with the crew members since day 1.
Actors associated with the show, in an interview with the leading daily, disclosed, ““When I was on the sets, Pratiksha was new and it was her debut so I would always tell her to focus on the craft. But I think she got diverted and lost her way. It is very unfortunate. There were some behavior issues with Shehzada, there was an incident where he demanded everyone to call him ‘Sir’. As Pratiksha was new, during my time, a lot of takes were needed from her during the shoot. But that could not be the case. Director’s Kut Production encourages professionalism.”
In the past, producer Rajan Shahi, in his interview with the leading daily, said, “I have had a lot of controversies with actors, but I feel nobody is above the show, not even the producer. I always appreciate my actors. However, there is a wrong perception that a lot of actors claim they shoot for 18 hours. It does happen sometimes, but not always. Some fans and even actors create a very wrong perception of the producers being bullies but I have always been very blunt about it. I am the only producer who goes overboard in appreciating the talent, but if an actor is misbehaving or troubling me, I will not take the nonsense.”
