Model Sofia Hayat who has been following the life of nun for welfare of society is now up with a demand for upbringing the health of female and getting them hygienic life. Hayat who already appeared in Bigboss wants and feel instead of condoms, sanitary pads should be made free. As sex is a choice but female menstruation is not. Sofia is further supported by Model turn actress Mahika Sharma. Mahika who is already involved with philanthropic endeavours also stands up with Sofia Hayat in the same campaign.
Sofia recently told in a statement that, “I support the campaign and feels sex for a chance can be done without condoms but sanitary pads are need for any or all female. It should be totally free by the governments. It will bring rise in women’s health too and keep them hygienic too.”
Mahika sharma adds, “In Indian villages still people are not introduced with sanitary pads. They are still dependent upon cloths and cotton. And there are many who can’t afford to buy such pads so have no choice then using cloths or cotton. It should be taken seriously and Government should help bringing  it in free funds.”
