While Thanksgiving Day is strictly cerebrated in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year, there’s no harm in celebrating it in India too. Because hey, one can be thankful to God, whenever one wants to, right? This time, we asked TV celebs about the things that they are thankful to God for, and here’s what they had to say…
Jay Soni:Â I thank God for always being there for me always and giving me everything that I ever wanted in life!
Gulfam Khan: I have to Thank God for a lot of things. Right from the parents he gave me, the life he gave me and the happiness he gave me. But what I thank him every day is for giving me my soulmate because my life has come a full circle after that.
Sumit Kaul: I would thank God for this life, for making me human, for a wonderful family, for the opportunities to do what I love to do and for good health. I would thank him especially for bringing Sadhguru in my life.
Shardul Pandit : I want to thank God for giving me my mother and my sister. These are two souls I would always want to meet and be close to. Everyone feels their family is great, but I thank God every day for giving me this particular set of family.
Priyal Gor : I want to thank God for making independent at this age, because girls at my age are not. It’s all because of my mother that I am standing on my feet. She supported me a lot in my acting career. So, I’d want to thank God that he gave such loving and caring mother.
Aishwarya Sakuja : I want to thank God for everything; for the fact that I breathe, I have a roof on my head, I have an able body. Everything that I have, every morsel of air that I breathe is because of him.
Mrunal Jain: I want to thank God for the amazing family he has given me. I have got a good upbringing and values. Being a Marwadi Jain, I follow all the rituals including following vegetarianism. My family has given me stability and balance in life.
Krip Kapur Suri : I am thankful to God for giving me a perfect life partner like Simran who is loving and understanding and supports me in every step of my life.
Ravi Dubey : I am thankful to God for giving me someone as sweet as Sargun as my life partner. She’s very understanding and loving. She keeps me positive and motivated and since she in the same profession as me, things are very sorted!
Kinshuk Mahajan : I would thank God for giving me an amazing family. My friends are another  reason I would want to thank God for. And, of course for my fans. They are so loving and supportive of me an and I’m thankful for that!.
Arjun Bijlani : I am thankful to God for blessing me with a loving family including my son Ayaan. He’s my best buddy and the more I spend time with him the more I feel like being around him.
Vivian Dsena : I am thankful to God for giving me right opportunities at the right time. I attract only positive happenings in my life.
Laksh : I am thankful to God for my lovely family who have always trusted me and my talent. They supported me in my decision to come to Mumbai to make my career. They have given my right values and the independence and for that I can’t thank God enough!
Aniruddh Dave : I am thankful for the career opportunities which I got. It wasn’t easy to shift to Mumbai and make a career as an actor. I constantly get good work based on my merit which is really encouraging and I have also got a lovely wife in the form of Shubhi Ahuja. So yes, a lot of things to be thankful for this year!
