The episode starts with Digvijay asking Jia what it is that she cannot share with her parents and urging her to tell him. Jia tells Digvijay that there is no use in telling him. Jia leaves the room and asks Shristi and the others not to follow her. She then leaves the room.
Sunny scolds Raunak and the others for allowing a dog into the hospital. He also scolds Abhir and Tanvi for not informing the hospital authorities. While Sunny is scolding Raunak, the dog named OTP leaves the room. Sunny asks Abhir, Tanvi, and Raunak to find the dog and bring it back, or else they will lose their jobs. Abhir, Tanvi, and Raunak go in search of the dog.
Sunny goes to Chandini. Chandini asks Sunny where Dr. Dev is and says that she will only get treated by him. Rosy warns Sunny that if anything happens to Chandini, they will file a case against the hospital.
Shristi, Digvijay, and Dev go in search of Jia and run into Abhir, Tanvi, and Raunak. Shristi and the others learn that Raunak has brought a dog into the hospital. Dev and the others continue looking for Jia and find her playing with the dog. Girish tells Dev and the others that dogs do not care about how people look. He says that while they could not understand Jia, the dog did. Girish adds that the dog will definitely help in Jia’s recovery.
Sunny calls for Dr. Dev from the reception, saying that there is an emergency. Shristi encourages Dev to go, saying it might be related to Chandini. Dev agrees and leaves.
Dev disguises himself as a doctor and goes in front of Chandini.
Jia continues playing with the dog. Shristi reprimands Raunak for bringing a dog into the hospital against hospital rules. Girish tells Shristi that OTP has contributed greatly to Jia’s recovery. Shristi agrees. Jia asks Shristi if they can take OTP with them. Shristi says no and tells her that Raunak will take care of the dog. Raunak agrees.
Dev comes in front of Chandini. Sunny recalls how Dev had threatened to cancel his medical license because of his mistake. Sunny snaps out of his thoughts.
Dev checks Chandini and asks if she is taking any medicine. Chandini says no and signals Rosy not to reveal the truth to Dr. Dev.
Dev, Abhir, and Vani discuss Chandini’s medical condition. Sunny comes to Dev and reminds him that he is not actually the head of medicine. Sunny says that he will decide Chandini’s treatment. He also asks Dev to behave rudely, as the old Dev was rude to everyone. Sunny says that everything depends on it. Dev asks Sunny what he means. Sunny recalls Udayshetty saying that he would come to the hospital for an inspection and would also meet Chandini. Sunny comes out of his thoughts and says that they need to answer the press regarding Chandini. Dev agrees.
Dev comes to Jia’s room and asks Shristi where Jia is. Shristi and Dev find Jia playing with OTP. Dev asks Shristi to allow him to talk to Jia. Shristi agrees.
Dev goes to Jia and asks if she would still love OTP if the dog looked bad. Jia replies that love is not based on shape and size. Dev tells Jia that they also love her regardless of her shape and size. He asks Jia to give him a chance to become a better father. Jia agrees and takes a promise from Dev that he will not become the rude father he once was. In return, she promises not to worry about her size and shape anymore.
The episode ends.
