The episode begins with Saradha and Shanmugam praying to God. The priest tells them that their daughter marraige will happen without any problems. Yazhini phones Saradha. She tells she’s angry that Saradha hasn’t invited her for Venba’s engagement. Saradha tells this is her sister’s marriage, so she should come before everyone and takes care of all arrangements.
Yazhini thanks her. She further tells she misunderstood Thiru in the beginning, but later, after knowing the truth, she started respecting him. Saradha praises Thiru. Shanmugam asks why Yazhini is showing so much intrest in Venba’s engagement. Saradha tells Yazhini wants Venba to get engaged so there will not be any problems in her marriage with Kavin. Shanmugam tells Yazhini is being very selfish and he doesn’t like the way she’s reacting in Venba’s matter. Saradha defends Yazhini. She asks him not to think Yazhini is bad, she’s just obsessed with Kavin, apart that she’s a very good girl. Shanmugam tells she can’t see bad in anyone.
At Saradha’s house, engagement preparations is going in full swing. Anbu request Nandhini not to speak ill about Venba to anyone because it may spoil Venba’s engagement. Nandhini promises to Anbu she will not do anything like that. The make up artist tells Saradha that Venba refuses to get ready. Saradha comes to Venba. Saradha tells her Thiru is a good person and she’s very lucky to get him. She asks her to get ready fast and leaves. Venba obeys without any option.
Yazhini comes. Kalai tells Saradha is waiting for her. Saradha gets happy seeing Yazhini. The latter asks why they haven’t arranged the engagement in a hall. Saradha tells she prefers to do the function at their house. Yazhini asks for Venba. Deeba takes her to Venba’s room. Yazhini compliments Venba’s look. She asks who selected the saree, it looks nice on her. She further tells she’s very lucky to get Thiru and praises him. Venba looks uninterested. Yazhini tells Kavin can’t attend her engagement, as he has gone to London for an important work. Venba gets shocked. She asks when Kavi left for London. Yazhini tells yesterday, Kavin didn’t want to go but Mallika aunty forced him. Venba cries.
Thiru and his mom arrive at Saradha’s house. Yazhini greets them. Saradha praises Yazhini and tells Yazhini is also like her daughter. Bagyalakshmi tells Venba is very good girl, she refused to wear their family jewels without her chithi’s presence. Shanmugam tells Saradha is Venba’s world. Bagyalakshmi asks if they can start the engagement ceremony. Saradha asks them to wait for few mins, she will come getting ready. Ravi enters Saradha’s house from the backside. He looks into the house through a window. He requests Thiru through gestures to come out.
Thiru comes out. He sees Ravi. He recognizes Ravi as the person he met at the resort. Ravi asks him to forget it. He asks Thiru to stop this engagement as Venba has lot of health problems. Thiru slaps Ravi. He tells speaking ill of a girl is a big sin. Ravi tells he will tell the truth. He tells Kavin and Venba love each other and Venba’s family is unaware of this so they fixed her marriage with him. He requests Thiru to stop the engagement. Thiru looks on.
