The episode starts with Gayatri apologising to Kusum for her behaviour. She thanks Kusum for saving Karthik and reconciles with her. On the other hand, Adit tells Soumya that he wants Karthik to get a girl like Mangal and he doesn’t want Karthik to get married to Jia. Soumya advises Adit to get Karthik married to Lakshmi. Adit looks on.
Kusum advises Gayatri to talk to Mangal and get Lakshmi and Karthik married. Gayatri agrees. Gayatri asks Kusum to give Lakshmi’s kundali to her. Kusum gives Lakshmi’s kundali to her. She asks her to not let Mangal and Lakshmi learn about Karthik and Jia’s broken engagement. Gayatri says it’s normal these days. Kusum says no girl can bear if she learn her would be husband loves some other girl. Kusum agrees.
Mangal comes home. She sees a depressed Karthik and asks him what happened. Karthik says he lost her. Mangal asks whom he lost. Gayatri stops Karthik from revealing Jia’s name. Mangal advises Karthik to never give up and asks him to fight back for what he wanted. Karthik thanks her and leaves. Gayatri scolds Mangal for encouraging Karthik without learning anything. She leaves from there.
Lakshmi cleans the house. Lipika thanks her for setting up the room. She sees her kundali in Lipika’s cupboard and questions why it’s here. Shanti comments on her and sends her from there. Lipika asks Shanti about her plan. Shanti says she doesn’t want to send Lakshmi from this house.
Gayatri shows Lakshmi’s horoscope to Astrologer. She asks Astrologer to match Lakshmi horoscope with her and her son. Astrologer tells Gayatri that Lakshmi is the perfect girl for her family. He advises her to never hurt Lakshmi’s self esteem. Gayatri thanks him. She receives Sanjana’s call and feels tense.
Karthik meets Jia and tries to change her decision but she doesn’t listen to him and insults him. Gayatri comes there. Jia asks Gayatri to take her son. She asks him to stop troubling her. Karthik asks Jia to burn their memories and promises her that he will never come back to her if she burns their memories(gifts). Jia burns the gifts. Gayatri asks what she did. Jia says she gave a perfect answer to Karthik. Karthik leaves. Gayatri follows him. Sanjana asks Premi what happened to Jia as she is changed. Premi says she doesn’t know what happened. Sanjana assures her that she will find the truth.
Mangal asks Kusum why Karthik is upset. Kusum diverts the matter. Everyone comes to the dining table to eat food. Adit calls Mangal as Soumya. Mangal feels upset.

Precap – Kusum learns about Soumya and Adit’s Goa plan and she tries to foil it. Karthik threatens Jia that he will commit suicide if she doesn’t agree to marry him. Jia refuses to marry him.
