Famous film Umrao Jaan needs no introduction. The epic story is been canvased on movie screen twice. Firstly, by legendary Rekha in 1981, then by beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 2006 playing the titular role. Story of a courtesan is reborn again in a theatre musical premiers today. This musical play is directed by Rajeev Goswami. It is produced by Gravity Zero Entertainment. Live music of play is composed by maestro Salim and Sulaiman.Â
Many celebrities from TV and Bollywood coming to watch the play. It was great to see soul sisters Drashti Dhami and Sanaya Irani in one frame.
Both dressed in white looked appreciable together. Their hair were straight with minimal jewelries. Drashti accessorize it with a hand purse. Their red carpet look was a rock on.Â
Together they have always given us friendship goals. Simultaneously, they have supported each other in every thick and thin. Be it on Jhalak Dikhla Ja set or Rangrasiya shootings, they were there for each other. They always take out time to be with each other to have a blast. No matter, how much they both were busy shooting, they made sure they pass by each other.
Sanaya last fiction show was Rangrasiya. Afterwards, she did make appearances in different shows as a contestant of guest. Further, she was seen in web series Zindaba which is a webseries by Vikram Bhatt. Drashti who was last seen in Silsila Badalkte Rishton Ka, later seen in variety of non-fictional shows.Â
