Interview by: Anil Merani| After Teri Meri Ikk Jindri, the beautiful and ultra-talented Aalisha Panwar is looking forward to her next project.
“Short film Ishiqyat, also starring Rrahul Sudhir, is a Kashmir based love story. Heer and Kabir’s romance is not typical but rather more intriguing with many hidden elements.”
“I can’t reveal more; check it out for yourself when it drops on YouTube on Valentine Day. Our meaningful title track has also become a rage, with many wondering what Ishiqyat means? For me, it is all about love”, said Aaalisha in exclusive chitchat with your favourite website.
Where was Ishiqyat shot? We could not film in the Vale of Kashmir due to various reasons hence settling for the beautiful locale of Manali( Himachal Pradesh).”
How was it working with Rrahul? “Given that both of us have been part of the famous Ishq Mein Marjavana franchise(different season, though), fans want to see us a couple. He is also a great actor to boot.”
“Ishqiyat is my third venture with FNP(Ishiqyat makers). I had ventured into this medium with Blind Love. Back then, I was unsure as not many tv actors were trying out shorts, but its vast success spawned a sequel. Naina was loved by one and all, and I am sure Heer will get similar acceptance. “added she.
Since you have done several projects over the years, what makes you say yes to any particular show? “ As an artist, I am responsible for entertaining you through varied roles.” Aalisha has done hit shows like Meri Gudiya and Begusaria etc.
"Here, I wish to add that success is relatively easy to get than sustain. A newie is happy to net a project, but given your brand value, myriad other factors need consideration if you're playing the lead. However, in the final analysis, it is my gut feeling about the role and not fear of fan acceptability, which is the clincher."
Since this is about love, do you plan to change your single relationship status?” Romance never happen as per plan!”
So describe your ideal guy? ” He has to be a good human being; a decent bloke will behave well with animals or another human being. Today it is a task to be just good.”
